Location: Excellent location near Jiwan and carter channel, and convenient access to the beach and resort facilities.
Villa size: The villa was spacious and very suitable for a family.
Parking: Convenient and easily accessible parking.
Cleanliness: The villa was clean and well maintained.
Kitchen: I appreciated the availability of the kitchen appliances and facilities, which made the stay more comfortable for a family.
Overall, the villa was very suitable for families, especially in terms of space and facilities
Areas for Improvement
Customer service: Customer service was not directly available, and I was given another contact number when calling 0. The gentleman was very helpful, but having a direct and consistently available contact would be better.
Amenities: I booked for 7 guests, but only around 4 sets of toiletries (toothbrushes, etc.) were provided.
Staircase safety: This is my biggest concern. The staircase inside the Beach Villa is made of glass, which creates a very significant slipping and falling risk, particularly for children and elderly guests, but also for adults. The risk becomes even higher when guests return from the beach or swimming pool with wet feet or a wet floor.
Given that this is a family-oriented beach villa, I strongly recommend addressing this safety issue, for example by adding non-slip surfaces, appropriate stair coverings, or other safety measures.
Gym access:I had difficulty accessing the gym and had to wait for another key specifically for gym access. This was inconvenient, especially as I ended up carrying two separate keys around. It would be much better to have one key/card that provides access to all the facilities included with the stay.
Lighting: The room lighting was quite dim and could be improved.
Downstairs shower: For a beach villa, having no downstairs shower was inconvenient and meant using the stairs while wet after swimming or going to the beach. A downstairs shower would be much safer and more practical.
