It’s conveniently located and good value for money.
Plenty of eateries nearby and a supermarket a few meters away.
It isn’t a big room but there’s AC and a fridge and kettle, Jim is very informative and did a laundry batch for us at no cost. You have a cloth line outside the room to hang towels.
You can reach NR1 by the C9 bus from the main bus station, getting off at stadium stop? About 5 minute walk.
It’s budget accommodation with everything you need.

Friendly host. He gives me lots of information about how to visit Troya and how to go from bus station. He let me store luggage after check out time.
Room is clean. A/c works. Hot water for shower works. Got a balcony (though not much of a view, hahaha). Location is center.

It is clean and the host was friendly with me
ANZAC day is on the other side of the peninsula so unless you catch a ferry with limited capacity, you're going to get stitched up on tolls crossing the bridge. Bed was not particularly comfortable, scratchy blanket, not a duvet. Woke up on second night after all-nighter for memorial to host yelling at another guest. Granted she was cooking chicken in a rice cooker in her room (not allowed for several reasons), but the argument went on for a long time at high volume including police being called. Kinda killed the vibe.
