Lions Eco Resort & Spa

Lion’s Eco provided the exact experience that was advertised; quiet, comfort, relaxing. The staff, Lilian, Jackson, Alex, Cosmos and the kitchen crew quickly became family. It was the perfect mix of peaceful romantic and home-style comfort. The breakfasts were wonderful from fresh fruit and juice to eggs done ‘just right’ with all the extras, bacon, sausage, French toast and perfect pancakes every time. Burgers at lunch were fabulous as well as the dinners of chicken, lamb chops and succulent snapper. The pool and lounge area is perfect for relaxing with board games and books. Bring some full length clothing if you want to relax into the evening. Our room was very private, spacious and comfortable, with a/c and windows with louvers and screens for beautiful fresh Malindi air. Lions is directly across from the local golf course which was fun to play. It is a short drive to a wide variety of restaurants. The Mambrui Sand Dunes, Hell’s Kitchen and the Marine Park are close by. The flexibility and value at Lion’s Eco makes it the perfect home base for a week of exploring Malindi.

It’s difficult to find anything needing improvement. It was the perfect fit for both exploring the local area or lounging the whole day through

They only offer complimentary drinking water at night and most times you have to request for it
