My partner and I made a spontaneous decision to book here and have a night's break from our camper, and we really enjoyed it.
The cabin has a homey feel to it, is super cosey and is equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of kitchen utensils, a fridge/microwave and laundry facilities. There's also a hot tub and the stars are incredible on a clear night.
The host Alda was very responsive and helpful.
The star for us was the cat Kisa. She's super sweet and affectionate. If my cat back home was willing to have a sister we would have been tempted to bring her back to Australia with us 😋

A good location for exploring the area and Alda was very helpful and responsive. Cabin had everything we needed and we spent three comfortable days there. The hot tub on the deck was a soothing touch at the end of busy exploration days, especially since we lucked out with two beautiful clear nights with dancing Aurora Borealis right above our heads! What a treat! Having little Kisa the cat around made it feel even more comfortable.
Really, there isn’t much we didn’t like. The shower stall was maybe a bit snug if you are a bigger person but not unmanageable.

Great cottage and facilities close to a lot of sights. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was great for our boys, but the best thing was the amazing cat. We have stayed in some pretty great places on our trip around Iceland, but the cat is our favourite and we would take her home any day.
