The views across the water to the bridge were lovely.
The apartment felt secure and quiet.
The beds are comfortable and showers worked well. Clean bedding and plenty of towels.
Hairdryer works well.
The WiFi worked well.
The 'new' part of town is lovely.
We can see why other guests have said it's not luxury. The code to collect the keys didn't work, not what you want after a 3 hour drive in mostly torrential rain. We struggled to find the building.
We didnt find the sofa comfortable. The balcony only had one chair. The kitchen needs better equipment, fortunately having read the reviews we took utensils and baking trays. We also took an extension lead, definitely needed!
The oven tray was greasy and had a previous guests remnants on it.
The TV reception isn't very good.
We booked the apartment as it came with parking, but it was out of order. We had to park in a nearby carpark and reclaim the exoense, bit of a pain.

It was up and away from street
Parking was small but included so can’t complain to much

Comfy beds, beautiful view and quiet despite being in Newport. It had everything we needed for our trip. Incredibly clean and bright. The hosts kept in touch with us and were very helpful
I would recommend this to friends and I hope to stay again
The steps but only because I have mobility issues

This was the second time we stayed in this attractive apartment. We liked the view over the river. City centre restaurants within walking distance.
Being on the third floor and because there is no lift, getting our luggage up is a bit of a challenge! From previous experience we brought several smaller cases instead of one or two larger ones.
Although we mainly ate out, we did prepare one meal in. Could do with utensils for cooking in non-stick pans. Wooden spoon or silicone spatula.
