We had booked a room that turned out to be much smaller than expected, especially since we had quite a lot of luggage. On reflection, we should have booked one of the tents, which seemed to be much more spacious. The dining area was very pleasant and we had good evening meals there at very reasonable prices. In the evening the friendly staff made a fire, which was a nice touch and very welcome, as it gets quite cold at night. The other issue we had was that we were self-driving in a fairly small 4WD without high clearance, and the access road is very rocky and rather challenging in such a car, although this would not be a problem with a high clearance vehicle. On the plus side, the accommodation is close enough to the National Park Centre and other facilities in Kinigi to be considered a convenient location with the right vehicle.

The food - breakfast minimal and dinner also quite limited, great soups though. The Bar didn’t have much to offer, recommend them to sell local beer.
