Good

Gorgeous rooms with jaw-dropping views and hand-carved furniture. So much character! Also, the family that runs the business is so very friendly. I felt right at home.

I pictured this as a remote, quiet location but be aware it's right on a well-used road from San Vito, a lively, good -sized town. Also, I had planned on breakfast here, but the owner couldn't do it the night I stayed.

Stay in San Vito

Self contained cabin with an exceptional view from the balcony. Good hot shower. Easy parking. lots of space. Easy to find and well sign posted which is not always the case. Good restaurant which is unfotunately closed on Mondays.

We will recommend this place to friends and stay there again!

The staff / mangers of this quaint little hotel were so amazing! The gardens are lush and abundant.

Coffee maker in the room did not work. Not a big deal, because the staff made us great coffee as soon as we asked!

Cascata Del Bosca Cabinas

The cabins were beautifully built, comfortable and roomy. Each was unique with great attention to detail. There was a 180 degree view from large windows and a marvelous covered deck. Cabin 4 was private with a wonderful view, including sunrise. Location was excellent. It was far enough out of San Vito to be quiet and close to Wilson Botanical Garden and Finca Cantaros. The open air restaurant served delicious, grilled food. The atmosphere was delightful as were the staff. The restaurant had a roof with ingenious hanging bamboo planters and plants everywhere. Again, a great deal of thought went into this area. Right down to the table mosaics.

It was difficult to shave because there was very poor lighting over the mirror in the bathroom. Also, the "kitchenette" facilities were limited. Included small fridge; sink; microwave; 2 cups, plates, glasses, spoons, forks, knives. Essentially, there was the ability to reheat but not to cook.

Without a good cleaning and some kitchen and eating area improvements I would most likely not return

Nice area with lots of vegetation.

The breakfast was just ok. Although advertised as having a restaurant it was not open. There was a whining cat in the eating area and it was far less then clean. Traffic was very noisy early in the morning

Our second visit to this wonderful place! The cabinas are fantastic with views and privacy. Restaurant offers great food and service! Highly recommend!

Beautiful, unique, friendly staff, clean.

The rooms were cute and the balcony was wonderful. Waking up to a view of the forest was wonderful. The property had some nice hiking trails and the vegetation was glorious.

There was a coffee maker but no coffee. The website says breakfast is included. The breakfast was great, but then they tried to charge us for it. Apparently the free breakfast was discontinued 2 years ago but he has not updated the website. We ended up paying 1/2 price, but I think he should have honored what it showed on the website. None of the questions I asked through Booking.com were answered. I probably will not use Booking.com again. The price wasn't any cheaper and the information was incomplete. This is my 2nd bad experience with Booking.com so I'm done with you.

Awesome

The restaurant served awesome meals and the staff was great. Service very good and the grill cook did a great job.

Restaurant could have been open earlier for a late breakfast.

Superb

Amazing view from our cabin over the rainforest and into the valley. Made you feel as if you were in a tree house. Bathroom great with good power hot shower. Wine glasses and fridge provided. Good WiFi. Able to do laundry.

Small amount of confusion with breakfast, initial staff told us included in the rate and then found out not included and cost 9000 colones.

Superb

If you have an interest in birdwatching this is a great location and has it's own private forest with good trails around the accommodation. The food in the restaurant was good. The accommodation is nice and quiet and the showers were very good.

The only singular thing was the restaurant was supposed to be open seven days a week but when we turned up on the Monday evening the restaurant and reception were both closed .

Excellent place to stay!

Beautiful views, clean and excellent rooms, excellent staff they brought us breakfast to eat on our beautiful balcony overlooking a gorgeous view. The restaurant was great too, everything was also very clean and safe. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much to the owners and staff!

Loved our stay here.

We absolutely loved everything about Cascate del Bosco. The furniture and they way they are decorated made it feel far more like a home than a hotel room. The architecture and the grounds were gorgeous and the restaurant had great food. We live in the rainforest on the beach with extreme heat and being in one of these bungalows in the cool air was absolutel heaven and we will be back.

Not a damn thing, lol.
