The staff were exceptional. They were always there to help, provide information, organise tours anything we needed. Alit on reception was particularly very professional and spoke English well and consistently provided great service. We were also given a free upgrade to one of the lovely bungalows near the pool
We didn’t have any negative experience at the property. There’s a few restaurants in walking distance but you really need a scooter or driver to get anywhere, the roads in penida are not so easy to navigate if you’re not too confident on a scooter so it is a bit remote

The bungalows are really comfortable and full of small thoughtful details that make them feel cozy. The restaurant has a beautiful view over the jungle and the valley, and breakfast there was delicious. The staff are warm and genuinely friendly. The location is great too, close to Crystal Bay and easy for getting around the rest of the island.
