The house is comfortable and attractive and the location is fantastic. It’s located on a secure private street 50 meters from the malecon with broad ocean views. The house is located a short 3-4 blocks from major tourist areas in Barranco. Excellent location.
I liked almost everything. My only constructive criticism is that the house is a bit spartan. In other rental properties the hosts leave some coffee or something basic infrastructure to make breakfast. Maybe a list with information on where to find a supermarket or a list of breakfast spots or restaurants. That’s all I would add.

Its’s a beautiful, lofty space filled with interesting art and eclectic furnishings.
It is a neglected property with little attention to detail. At this price point, you would expect at least some basic items like some laundry detergent, coffee/tea and some means of making coffee (there was a kettle only). There was an old layer of dust on many surfaces, and cobwebs in most corners. An unfortunate smell of mould permeated the property. The sheets did not feel clean.
There was no information piece or instructions about the property and its rules.
