Fort Meyers was exactly what we needed for a short trip. The home was just as described and communication perfect. We didn’t use the patio and games outside because it was so hot. We spent most of our time in the pool and sauna. The kitchen was well stocked for us to make meals and the bed was comfortable.

The Property was amazing, we didn’t get to use the back patio but the house was beautiful and the pool was definitely a hit

The house was awesome! Very nice furnishings, a lot of extras in the kitchen, and more than enough room for our family of 7. Location was private and quiet, and the large front and back yard were great. The indoor pool was perfect too! Host was very accommodating and accessible.

This place was everything we hoped for and more. Great weekend with family. Hosts were amazing. Very much looking forward to coming back soon.

The pool was a perfect addition to our vacation, the family enjoyed it so much. The property owns we’re amazing and went above and beyond to give us a great vacation . Spacious clean home and we will stay again when visiting the area. The grandkids had so much fun in the pool.

My husband and I felt very pampered with all the amenities! It was a gorgeous home and there were several fun games to play like a pool table, lawn golf, and board games. The pool was perfect and soothing. My dog loved running around the huge yard and the hosts were very helpful with anything we needed.

We really enjoyed the stay.

If I could give this property and host all the stars, i most definitely would. Its a beautiful property and house. The host is amazing and goes way above and beyond. If you are ever up their way, this place is a must stay in. You will not be disappointed.

We loved our stay at this house! The entire house is beautifully updated and decorated. Somehow it felt both luxurious and homey. It was perfectly clean including the pool, which provided many hours of entertainment. The house was stocked with all the household items we needed and more. The owners were extremely attentive when needed and otherwise gave us privacy. We enjoyed the Springfield aquarium and nearby restaurants recommended in the guest information book. It was also just an hour away from Silver Dollar City for a day trip. We could not recommend staying at this property more and can’t wait to go back!

The home & grounds are beautiful. We were very disappointed to find that 5 of the 6 fireplaces were not working. The only one that did was an LED version in the living room. The pool was the biggest disappointment. Upon arrival the owner said that we needed to pick a time for them to come open and close it each day. When the cover wasn’t working properly the first time they came to close it-we all agreed to leave it open. We were told to leave the roof windows and a screen door open at all times and the fans on when not using the pool because there was a problem with humidity from the pool causing damage. The pool water was COLD and the owners turned it up but said it takes 48 hours to change so it was not used much and was the main reason we rented this property-even though it was an expensive treat. I have rented many times and in many places and I have never had to interact with owners/property managers in person. I always feel as if the property is mine for the time I rent not the case here. They wanted to be present to open/close the pool, they needed to be present in order to use fireplaces, their check-in/out procedures book even said they would likely make a trashcan sweep Sunday night due to early trash pickup Monday. I felt like I needed to turn off lights, minimize use of things..like I needed to help them pinch pennies. Upon arrival there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher & towels in the dryer. For sure wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.

This house was very comfortable and we had a great time at it.

This is a lovely property maintained by lovely people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very accommodating, accessible, and hospitable. They went above and beyond the call of duty in taking care of us. The house comfortably accommodated our ten-person party. The pool is great. There is easy access to beautiful Fellows Lake. The internet connection is very fast.

Overall such an awesome place and experience! There is a little bit of everything for everyone. Shannon was such a great host and the house was perfect! Moving fwd we will make this our “go-to” place when we are in the area!

There is just so much to say about this property and the amazing hosts who offer this gorgeous retreat! My husband and I, along with our two boys (10 and 8 yo) stayed here over our spring break. We wanted a place that was just our own to spend quality time making memories with our kids and this exceeded our expectations. We made meals, enjoyed the many amenities and sought out the local things to do! We fished, went to the Natural History Mueseum and Aquarium, checked out some caves, and explored some local hiking trails. We started every day with a breakfast around the table and ended our evenings snuggled on the couches with popcorn and a movie! The hosts were welcoming, accessable and so so accomadating! We would recommed this place over and over again! Thank you Shannon and company for the clean, well thought out retreat! You left no stone unturned!

This home was amazingly nice. Everything was well stocked, clean and spacious. It sleeps a lot of people, but only 3 bedrooms so keep that in mind when planning the stay. The ONLY complaint I have is the lack of privacy. I have never stayed in a VRBO where the owners live on site in their camper. They also come inside the home while you’re there. (You pay a lot of money and they should def prepare for guests and plan to NOT be in and out of the house) There was a curtained off stairway by the pool and kitchen. It’s their office and I believe another room or something. We were all hanging out about 10:15 pm our first night when my sister in law approached me and said “that lady was just walking through the pool area and I thought it was you! She scared me.” Then one of the kids that was with our family said the same thing….they saw a lady walking through the house. She said she would be going in and out to get tax papers. I feel if people are spending this kind of money, they should not be worried that a complete stranger is in the house with them!!! One of the little girls called her mom (back home in Kansas) and told her she was scared because a lady keeps coming in the house and going behind a curtain….not a call any mom wants to hear even if it is harmless. It took away from the experience having the couple sitting right outside the front of the house, feeling watched all the time. Don’t get me wrong, nice lady. Just definitely won’t stay in another VRBO that has the owners there the entire time and coming in and out of the house unknown!! Other than that, the home and exterior was amazing

Our family of 5 enjoyed this unique, fully stocked home. The indoor pool is exactly as featured in photos but be aware, the chlorine does work hard on the eyes and may be hard for littles. That said, we loved every minute enjoying all the special unique amenities at this country retreat!

The home was absolutely beautiful! Not only was it very clean, but it was also beautifully decorated. The property manager/owner had excellent communication and was very accommodating. It was the perfect place for all of our ladies to stay together to attend DFL women's conference. We look forward to next year!

This place was absolutely perfect for our family of 12. Not only was it beautiful as posted but so spacious and comfy. The owners were so awesome. They were there when we needed them and otherwise invisible. They were so kind and generous. Everything we could possibly need was at our fingertips. I’ve rented many vrbo properties and never had such thoughtful and generous extras available. Also the pool was just right being heated. The 6 kids were in there constantly when we were home and really enjoyed it. Also a great deck and grounds with outdoor seating and games. Thank you Shannon and Charlie for a fabulous vacation we all loved!!!!!

y respected our privacy The home was just as beautiful as it appeared in the photos and top notch hosts. They were very helpful checking in and responding to the few needs we had during our stay but totally respectful of our privacy and thoughtful about special needs we had because we had young children. The location is quiet, and yard is huge, flat and shaded. The nearby Fellows Lake is pristine and undeveloped so you really get a peaceful place to commune with nature or bond with family and friends. Tobias at the marina is great as well where we rented canoes and kayaks. We will be back!!

Our 3 families met here, with a total of 7 children & we all had a wonderful stay! The indoor pool was fabulous - even with a rainy day, the kids could still swim & play together. Great large kitchen, outdoor deck & grill & super comfy living room. Lovely property.

Wonderful place for our family get together. The house was so inviting and spacious. Being away from all the hustle and bustle gave us the opportunity to connect and have fun. The hosts were amazing and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Definitely recommend!!!

Although the listing mentioned that the owners would be staying in the apartment area of the house. We still came in contact with them several times. I think they were trying to be helpful and sweet by asking how our stay was, but it just made the group feel like we were intruders in their area. It also says on the listing that it has Wi-Fi and Netflix etc. we found out after we got there that you can’t have more than 3 devices on their internet and the instructions requested us use our hotspot if possible. Why in the world you would only be able to put three devices on in a place that can hold 18 people I have no idea. Then one of the days that we were there, the owners messaged and said they were recording something and to please stay off the internet. Overall it was a beautiful location and house that was ruined by the internet issues and the overbearing owners.

Our group really enjoyed our trip. Hosts were easy going and had excellent communication with us. Indoor pool was as good as advertised and the location of the property made for enjoyable walks to the Marina.

We had 8 people in our group. Everything that we could possibly need was available at this property. The kitchen was spacious and we cooked several meals as well as using the grill on the porch. There was lots of porch space for hanging out together. The pool was the biggest hit I think. We were in and out of it alot! Plenty of comfy spots to sleep on or just relax on. We will definitely keep this spot in mind for another family meet up.
