Situated in Freeport, this attractive condo for $200 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Inviting and spacious Condo on Bell Channel. Dockage for Boats up to 40+ ft!. Private deck and eating area overlooking the water and swimming pool. Large, bright and sunny living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen. 3 bedrooms (all Queen beds with additional Twin in TV/Game room) and 3 full bathrooms. It's a short walk to the pristine beaches, Port Lucaya shops, restaurants and bars. Kayaks, Bicycles, Snorkel gear and beach accessories are all included! Basic tackle for hand line fishing at the dock is also provided. Everything you need for a great vacation is waiting for you! The crystal clear turquoise waters of the area offer world class diving and snorkeling, exceptional fishing, and miles of white sandy beaches. The Reef Golf Course and Country Club is 1/4 mile away. BOATERS: Usage of Dock is at your own risk. weather/seas can be unpredictable, If you need to adjust stay due to weather, we will do our best to accommodate as long as it does not conflict with other bookings.

Great rental for boaters. Unit had everything you need for a comfortable vacation. We unfortunately didn’t have the best boating weather for fishing or lobstering but made the best of it. Would definitely rent again.

This vacation did not disappoint!!!
Grand Bahama Island was wonderful and deserves for tourism to return after Hurricane Dorian and Covid over the past 3 years. It’s truly a wonderful island and the people are great.
I flew in with my daughter and grands, while meeting my husband and son in law there. They took our boat over from Jupiter, Florida and this property is perfect for this too. We loved being able to just dock and come and go by boat.
We also met the most helpful neighbor(and homeowner downstairs) that is a really kind, helpful human(AJ) and simply the best. If you fly in, we took the owners advice and contacted Jimmy to pick us up. Jimmy literally acted as our local tour guide and driver everywhere. We literally traveled from one end of the island to the other, many times with him, hanging out in smaller fishing villages and the locals.
If you want a great location, you can walk to the beach, restaurants, the market and a great grocery store a mile away… have a pool, the canal, privacy and not in a cookie cutter resort.. where you’re not experiencing the island, then this lovely condo is the place for you.
We will be back and have made real friends there bc of this place. You’ll love it!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. Our group consisted of me and my husband, our three children, and my in-laws. This home had everything we needed and more! The pool was a great bonus if we felt like relaxing at home, and the guys enjoyed fishing off of the dock every day and evening. We walked to Lucaya Marketplace (about 15 minutes - make sure you use the cut-through!) every day for shopping and dinner, and the home was a great central location for everything.
AJ, the homeowner downstairs, was extremely kind and helpful with suggestions!
We ended up eating at Zorba’s four times because the menu was so big and the food and staff were so great!! We loved Banana Bay for lunch and the beautiful beach location. We used taxis for the first two days but that ended up becoming pricey quickly, so we ended up getting a rental for the remainder of the trip.
The owners have a cork board in the kitchen with tons of recommendations from them and past guests on dining and activities, we used this every day!
If you are considering a Freeport getaway, this place is where you need to stay. The condo is huge, clean, and I can’t say enough about the owners! They reached out prior to the trip with a discount card to the nearby grocery store and to let us know about the backup Wi-Fi that was installed - we had trouble connecting when we got there, and the owner was quick to communicate with me to get it all sorted out immediately.

We stayed at the Bell Channel Bay condo for 2 weeks in March 2023. The unit is very cozy, well appointed - prob among the best we’ve experienced. Easily can accommodate 3 couples, although we were on our own.
It is centrally located, however if you’re not a walker you will need to rent a car - there is a local spot down the street that will pick you up - but it is only 5 minute walk. Cars are clean and serviceable, but a little dated compared to national car rental companies. We had no issues renting a car for just a day - you just need to remember you will be driving on the left side of the road like in the UK.
There are many amazing restaurants to try, including Out Da Sea, Flying Fish, Stoned Crab and Zorba’s (really good coffee).
The condo is a little dated, however beautifully decorated and its obvious the owners put lots of love and attention into the unit. The building itself is undergoing major renovations, but is a nice little community. The neighbourhood is a little run down, but again is undergoing a rejuvenation process. We still felt very safe and met some of the neighbors - you just need to put yourself out there.
The Condo is well labelled for easy understanding of light switches/ appliances etc. It was also great to have a local phone available to connect with others on WhatsApp, and use for emergency calls, reservations at restaurants, etc - this ensured we didn’t need to purchase our own roaming plan.
The beach is an easy 10 minute walk away. There are vendors on the beach that are not aggressive but appreciative of your business. Feel free to take your own chairs (provided at the Condo)/drinks, but they have some available there if you wish (for a fee). Lunch is also available there - menu changes with what is in season.
Hope this helps anyone thinking about staying here, and hope you enjoy the location as much as we did.

Perfect Place
The condo is very large, extremely well equipped and is very close to the beaches and the Lucaya Marketplace. The Marketplace has restaurants, bars, and shops all within a 5-10 min walk so we really didn’t even a need a car. The main beach was the same distance and almost 3 miles long. We used the provided bikes to explore the area and go to several other beaches and restaurants. Coming by boat from Florida was easy, and the large dock is very protected and very secure. The People of Freeport were the most friendly and helpful that we have experienced. The fishing and snorkeling were superb and the water crystal clear! We stayed for 5 weeks and highly recommend this place (we will be returning within a year and staying longer,)

Very nice place… our driver/ neighbor jimmy was awesome guy, and now we are friends! Only complaint we could have would be the pool wasn’t working and green. But other than that we had a great time! Thank you to the Conway’s!

Great Place to relax and fish from.
We had a great time staying at Paula's place. Really nice being able to dock the boat at our front door and having a pool to jump in after a long day fishing. Plenty of room in this place with a nice view down the canal. Very enjoyable sitting on the porch in the evening with a cocktail looking down on the boat and water. The price was very reasonable. Overall I highly recommend this place - Thanks Paula.

We felt at home. The condo had lots of space. It was open and bright. There were many spots to lounge. The kitchen was large and airy, fully stocked with the necessary utensils and appliances. We enjoyed the balcony and being by the water. The boys took the kayaks out and had lots of fun. They also used the bikes to get to Lucaya Market. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. We also liked being close to the supermarket and having a place to park right at the condo. The area was safe and quiet which we appreciated very much. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Grand Bahama. We found the keyless way to get in and out of the condo very convenient for the boys to come in and out as they pleased, they just needed to remember the combination. Having the pool to unwind after a long day was also nice to have. We had a great time and would come back again.

Check in and out were a breeze she was very easy to contact and responded in very timely manner. 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds. One bathroom was a little walk down the hall. Her place had everything you could possibly need. We prepared many meals in the spacious kitchen and she has one rule in the kitchen if you use the last of something replace it. The balcony with the canal view was breathtaking. Unfortunate We did not get a chance to go kayaking. Floyd Nottage and Ron Russell are great fisherman and will take you to where the fish are biting. Look them up on Facebook. We highly recommend Paula's place. We found many things to do in Freeport shopping in Port Lacaya. Fish fry in Smith Point, Drinks at the two dollar ba and dont forget to write your name on the ceiling, old school karaoke at the blue bar in Hunters and a beach party in 8 mile rock. Absolutely great place to stay
This place is huge!! We went over to fish for a week and throughly enjoyed our stay even though the weather didn't cooperate with our fishing plans. If your looking for a place to stay with dockage close to tourist area this is the place for you.

Great property, well appointed in a excellent location.
Didn't need to bring much with us as kitchen, bathrooms etc well stocked and catered for.
Whether you are sitting on the decking or hiding from the heat inside with the AC on, you won't be disappointed.
So close to Port Lucaya and all the shops and restaurants as well as the diving facilities at UNEXSO.

Great time in the Bahamas!
My family and I really had a great time at the Conway house. Kept our boat docked out front from which we fished and snorkeled the Bahamian waters and reefs. The dock is well lit at night and from our balcony upstairs we enjoyed the nice breeze we had most of our trip along with a few drinks looking out at the boat and canal. Lots of life in the canal as we fed the resident barracuda, saw a few and even hooked a tarpon from the dock, as well as saw rays, and lots of other fish. The house is spacious and well equipped. Used the grill outside on two occasions and my wife and daughter used the 3 person kayak to explore the surrounding waters. Overall we really had a great time and had plenty of fish to bring back. Would certainly go back and would recommend this spot as the combination of a spacious 3 bedroom, pool and boat dockage at an affordable price is not always easy to come by. We stayed in this lovely house from April 20-23.
First, about the owners; Great communication! They were very helpful & made everything so easy before and during our stay. We only wish we would have had the opportunity to have met them while there.
Now about the house/location; Everything was exactly as the owner described it on VRBO. We were a party of 6 (4 adults, one 17 year old and one 12 year old) and we had an abundance of space. It is comfortably furnished, clean & well stocked. We met some of the neighbors from our building & really enjoyed visiting with them on the dock & getting to know them. Having the dock and channel right outside was great and we would have snorkled and kayaked in the channel if we would have had more time. The neighbors were really nice & they provided a wealth of information about things to do. The location felt very safe & private & the house was peaceful, very comfortable & quiet. Especially, considering it was only a few blocks away from the big resorts on Lucaya Beach and the Lucaya Market, where the bars, restaurants and shopping are located. We decided to rent a car to explore the island & the more deserted beaches because we aren't really into the crowded resort beaches.
During our stay, we traveled from one end of the island, literally to the other... 90 some miles, to be exact. We snorkeled at Deadman's Reef on the west end of the island one day. That was a great way to spend the day. It is beautiful and they have a restaurant, a tiny gift shop, snorkel equipment rentals, (we brought our own equipment) restrooms & an area where you can change clothes. The next day we headed east on the island & swam/snorkeled at the beach at Fortune Bay. Aside from our family, there were only about 10 other people, as far as the eye could see. After a few hours at Fortune Beach, we traveled to another beach at East Grand Bahama. There, we were completely alone. The water was rougher and the coral was right at the waterline of the beach so we didn't swim. This was where we beach combed for miles & found soooo many beautiful shells and coral formations.
This house and the owners are fantastic and we will definitely stay here again. (Soon, I hope and for a longer stay!) I highly recommend it!

Excellent Location
We loved our stay and wish we didn't have to leave. I caught 3 different kinds of fish from the dock with beautiful colors. The mountain bikes were so much fun. The wife and me tried to go everyday for a bike ride to the market or the grocery store took us under 10 minutes and it was so much fun. We met a nice guy on the beach selling shells who drove us around the Bahamas and was like a personal guide for less then half of what taxis charge. We did 10 different beaches including the snorkeling and the bat caves. Captain AJ helped us into our vacation rental, very kind and nice. Went fishing with Ron Russell and had the best fishing experience every. Beat our Hawaii and Costa Rica and Switzerland and Canadian Rockies fishing trip 10 times over. We had a dolphin swim right up to the boat and could probably touch the dolphin and out in the ocean 3 large turtles swam around the boat while fishing. We caught over 20 fish in 3 hrs and one wash a king fish over 25lbs and lots of yellow snapper and some other kind of fish. We even had 2 hammerhead sharks come up to the boat while bringing in some yellow snappers. Best fishing trip ever.
The beaches were all beautiful, everyone we went to. The people in the grocery stores and at different beaches were so friendly. We felt so safe here with our 3 little kids. The air conditioning works great and the use of a washer and dryer was like we were at home. Big Kitchen and netflixs was a bonus. Home owners and neighbors super friendly and helpful. We were even given a late checkout because we are leaving on the ferry. Really nice and comfortable home, can't wait to come back. Hopefully someday soon. Thank-you

Search Ron Russell on Facebook for the fishing guy. Best Fishing experience for sure. He takes you to where the fish are. Not to where the tourists see your boat advertising. He simply said when we got to the spot. Let me know when you want to go back or get tired of catching fish. Wish I was still on that boat and at that vrbo home right now :)

This Condo and location were perfect for our family getaway!
The layout of the condo was perfect for our family of 6 to spend quality time together playing cards and just hanging out when inside. Outside, the easy pool and canal access made the location even better. We really enjoyed the easy access to the Market Place and Beach.

Pictures don't do this one justice, amazing rental!!! Best communication about everything, including local information. Walking distance to pretty much everything! We would (will) rent again in a heartbeat!
