About this house rental

Situated in Canyon Lake, this attractive house for $407 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. 3/2 home. Sleeps 14. Master: Queen. 2nd Bedroom: 2 full over full bunk beds. Loft: 2 Queens. No Smoking. No Pets. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. House in not riverfront, however it does include SHARED access to the river across the street. Neighboring house may be rented by a separate party during your stay. Our barn is completely remodeled and fully furnished with 2 bedrooms, 1 loft, 2 full baths, kitchen, dining and living area. Bring the whole family to tube, swim, kayak, or fish the beautiful waters of the Guadalupe River. Gather around the shared fire pit and outdoor space shared with the neighboring house (Ponderosa Country Haus) which is also available to rent and sleeps an additional 14 guests. Neighboring house may be rented by a separate party during your stay. Across the street there is a gated walkway with direct access to the Guadalupe River. Nice shallow area of the river great to bring a chair and sit in the water and watch the tubers go by! Little Ponderosa Outfitters is right down the street to rent tubes and shuttle service. Just a short drive to Sattler with a grocery store, liquor store, dollar store and dining options. Only 10 minutes from Canyon Lake Dam. Schlitterbahn, Downtown New Braunfels and the Comal River are less than 30 minutes away. The barndominium is an amazingly unique rustic but elegant place to stay. The great room has attention to detail with a vaulted ceiling. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating, sink into the huge sectional to watch the big screen 75-inch Smart TV with cable and free Wi-Fi. The dining table seats 10 with 4 additional bar stools for the kitchen island. The kitchen has Brazilian Marble counter tops and is fully equipped with full size appliances, pot/pans, dishes. All the comforts of home including a washer and dryer. Guest bathroom is convenient to all rooms downstairs. All 3 bedrooms have 65-inch Smart TVs with cable. The spacious master bedroom has a queen bed, and private full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full over full bunk beds, and the loft space has 2 queen beds. Interested in fishing? This is the perfect place for you! The Guadalupe River is stocked with trout starting December 1st! There are wonderful tube rentals, shuttle services, and entertainment up and down River Road! The best fishing in the area! Just a short drive to Gruene and downtown New Braunfels, which both offer several restaurants, entertainment, and numerous activities. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and a famous landmark. Gruene also offers great shopping, restaurants and wine tasting. Close to the San Marcos outlet malls, Schlitterbahn and Canyon Lake. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. This home has a maximum occupancy of 14 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. You can park 6 vehicles at this property. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500. Property was great! Met up with some old buddies from college for a boys’ weekend. Place was plenty spacious to accommodate 8 of us. Ease of check in/out was very convenient. Big kitchen and outdoor grill made it easy to keep everyone fed without having to run into town every night. Local grocery store in Sattler was only about a six minute drive and had everything you could really need. Direct river access was great and easy to use, in a perfect spot on the river. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

This property was so cute! It was perfect for our cousins getaway. We had a few adults and then 9 kids and it was perfect for all of us. Everything was clean and we especially liked that there were plenty of towels. We had a small issue and the owner came over right away to remedy it and was very nice and even recommended where we should float the River from. We had a great trip and would definitely stay again

The property was spacious, clean & updated. The TEXAS weather did what it does & decided to send a cold front through, so we didn’t get to float the river, which was easily accessible. So we enjoyed the fire pit, big yard & indoor space. I recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time there. The house is very pretty. Only issues was with a house that sleeps 14 and only 2 bathrooms was challenging. And with all of us being adults nobody was crazy about the bunk beds. We had an issue with the A/C but they had someone come pretty quick to fix it. I would recommend this house to a group but not as big as ours.

As soon as we walked in, you have the kitchen area which is very spacious and has all the amenities you need, the dining room table was beautiful, and the living room sofa was very comfortable. The rooms are great size and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the outside set up and easy river access. I would definitely stay here again!
