About this house rental
Located in Porepunkah, this lovely house for $336 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Once you are inside you will know you have picked the right place with large rooms and the attention to detail is on point, you will never want to leave. With a separate study space plus 2 lounge rooms this house is perfect for 2 families or a friends getaway. This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group) CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD • If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund. • If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply. All cancellations are to be received via email. Please refer to our terms and conditions for our full cancellation policy. BEDDING CONFIGURATION (sleeps 8) Bedroom 1 – King Bed with ensuite Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed Bedroom 3 – Queen Bed Bedroom 4 – Queen Bed All bedding linen and bath towels are provided KITCHEN & DINING Plenty of space in this kitchen, a separate butler’s pantry with a full-sized fridge/freezer. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast with plenty of bench space, microwave, huge oven and gas cooktop and the essential holiday appliance, a dishwasher. Some added extras include a rice cooker, a slow cooker, a Soda Stream and let's not forget the Nespresso Coffee machine – it’s going to be hard to leave and eat out at our many awesome restaurants and cafés. Open plan kitchen, dining and living area, this is a great house for the family to gather. The dining table seats 8 people comfortably. LOUNGE & ENTERTAINMENT This amazing property has 2 living areas, one for the kids to sit and watch TV and one for the adults in front of the huge rock fireplace with a magazine and a glass of local wine. Another area off the bedrooms enables any work from home or study options with a desk area and extra bean bags to hang out in. Both lounge areas have Smart TV’s WIFI is included at this property. HEATING & COOLING Slow combustion wood fire in the living room, ducted heating and cooling in the rest of the house. Ceiling fans are in the bedrooms. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied. Additional firewood can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations. BATHROOMS Ensuite: Shower, toilet and vanity Main Bathroom: Shower, full size bath and vanity. The toilet is separate. LAUNDRY Contains washer & dryer and plenty of storage space. OUTDOORS Featuring an in-ground pool (available October - April *please note the spa is not functional*) and fantastic undercover entertaining area with table and chairs for all & gas BBQ, there is even a bed for the pooch! Many memories will be created in this awesome fully enclosed back yard. PET POLICY Well behaved pets are welcome upon request. *Please note this property is fully fenced however, the front gate/fencing is more suited to medium – large dogs. Small dogs MAY be able to get out under the fencing. To ensure that Bright Holidays can continue offering pet friendly accommodation, we ask that you ensure that you pick up after your pets.

The house was very clean and everything worked perfectly. The pool was spotless clean and the house is walking distance to local cafe for a coffee in the morning and pub for a wine in the arvo! Will certainly be back !

Tewksbury retreat is a beautiful house that has everything you could want to make a holiday relaxed and fun. The beds are comfortable, and rooms are spotless and spacious. The house is a short walk from the centre of Porepunkah and a 5 minute drive into Bright. We'll be back.

The place is newly built and is very pretty. Very spacious and sufficient for a big group. Felt like home when we arrived. Beds are comfortable. Compliances are well stocked. There is a pool at the back that is only available during the warmer months.
Would have been better if we didn’t need to drive to Bright to collect and drop off the keys. Also, one of the requirements was to put dishes back after washing before checkout. Seemed a bit rush for those who have breakfast before checkout.

From the booking enquiry, right through to check out the agent's service was great; friendly and informative. The House itself is brilliant. the pool gets sun majority of the day and they layout of the house is perfect for families with and without kids and also yard friendly for pets (so long as the front gate is closed). Good for group time together as well as being big enough to have private retreat areas. All the facilities were in working order, everything was clean and there was ample car parking. Beautiful street, friendly neighbours and beautiful surrounding views. It was good to be away from the busy hustle in town and have the benefit of a short 6minute drive into Bright town. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Overall the house was really nice. Comfortable, spacious, mostly clean. Walls and skirting boards need a wipe over. We were told the pool would be ready to swim in but it needed a clean and had lots of leaves and bugs, despite the filter being turned on. Beds were comfortable. Lovely to sit by the fireplace each night. Only big dogs would be secure in the yard. Dogs under 5kg would squeeze through the bars in the fence. A lockbox at the property would be good instead of traveling onto Bright to get the keys at the real estate agent.

Very beautiful, clean, modern house. Our group had some issue on the second night with the hot water but they tried to assist us. Everything else was great otherwise. Overall it was a wonderful weekend at this house.

Fire place was fantastic, but only discovered that to get air you needed to turn a know on a wall that we thought was for the ceiling fan.
Anyway overall really nice place and we plan to be back in the future.
