About this house rental
Located in Porepunkah, this charming house for $364 per night is a great option for your next trip. Whistler is a new 5 star energy rated house.which has a northerly aspect with plenty of winter sun, shining through the big double glazed windows. It has reverse cycle ducted heating and cooling for the warmer months, 3 LCD TVs in the house, 2 X Plasma Tvs,5.1 surround sound, DVD in the lounge and foosball for the family to enjoy. There is also a spa and combustion stove for cosy winter evenings at home. There are 4 bedrooms which sleep 12 people and 2 bathrooms, 2 Toilets, There is also a separate dining room which leads directly onto the decking and BBQ, if you eat indoors, or on warmer days / evenings enjoy a glass of wine or meal out doors and check out the views of the beautiful Ovens valley. BOOK 7 DAYS FOR A 10% DISCOUNT. Please note Australia day,Labour Day,Anzac day and Queensbirthday Weekend holidays are a three day minimun Booking. Easter and Melbourne cup weekend is a Four day minimun booking. These dates are based Holidays set for the state of Victoria Australia. PLEASE NOTE. There is a $250 bond payable for additional cleaning if required or a credit card bond form authority which is the easiest option. As part of the rental we request that the furniture be placed back in the original positions and all kichen items should be washed and placed back in the kitchen cupboards. Please leave the house in a neat and orderly manner. After the cleaner has completed cleaning and all is ok the refund will be returned to you. Surrounding area. Most mornings a mob of kangaroos frequent and graze near our house The property is within a few minutes walk to town with over 30 restaurants, a local brewery and numerous shops. It is a short drive (or bus ride) to the ski slopes of Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham, and Falls Creek, for fun in the snow. Bright is terrific to visit all year round, with the autumn colours and huge poplar trees being a real attraction. Other attractions to this beautiful region include swimming in the cool waters of the Ovens in Summer, bush walking, paragliding, abseiling, fishing, or dining in quality restaurants and coffee shops. Configuration of bedrooms and Pricing The daily price is based on 4 persons. Each additional person is charged at $14 to $16 per person per night depending on the season tarriff. See pricing calander. The house bedroom configured is as followed: Master bedroom Queen size bed Bedroom 2 Double bed and single bunk. Bedroom 3 1 x single bunks. 2x single beds (Upstairs) Bedroom 4 Queen bed (Upstairs) Dorma upstairs Sofa Bed Single Main bathroom with Spa/Separate Tiolet Upstairs bathroom With Tiolet All linen, towels and soaps provided. PLEASE NOTE PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED AND SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED Bond Authorisation form will need to be completed and returned prior to arrival. We had an enjoyable stay at Bright Whistler, quiet area, nice internal layout with plenty of space for our larger group to relax and unwind at the end of our day's activities. Not too far town centre, about 8-10min walk to main shops, easy access to the bike path for the kids and adults to ride to the river as well.

We had a great stay in Bright, the home was well setup for two families with children with open plan living and plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms.
Nice and close to both Falls Creek & Mount Hotham we were able to visit both mountains and experience snow activities at both.
The Laundry was great with washing machine & dryer and also a drying cupboard to dry out our damp snow gear and boots!
Would definitely stay here again.

Family reunion
My family had not all been together for over a year so this was a special treat. The house was perfect for us with separate family living areas and large lounge area. Close to town, bikes provided and extremely clean - it was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were very helpful and have set up the house to make for a great holiday. The house is really well appointed, clean, very comfortable and is in a great location in town.

A great place to stay for our group in Bright!
Whistler Bright was the perfect place to stay for my birthday celebrations at Mt Buffalo. Loved the house - big, clean and everything we needed. Rosemarie had excellent communication and replied quickly to my messages.

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped
Really enjoyed our stay here. The house is set in a nice private corner lot with plenty of room to house a family of 7 like ours. Place is nicely furnished, well equipped and clean. The owner was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful property, plenty of space and close to everything.
Whistler is a great place to stay for large groups with plenty of space for everyone and never felt like we were living on top of each other. All the amenities that you need and only a short walk into town.

We stayed at WHISTLER ON BRIGHT and found this a perfect place for our base to cycle. Plenty of room, big garage for bike storage, and great location.
Rosemarie was very helpful with all our requests and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for our next trip.

Very mpressed with the home!!

Great house for a group
We are repeat visitors. Since our last stay there had been fresh flooring put in, which made the house feel nice and fresh and clean. There was plenty of firewood. Rosemarie was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We highly recommend Whistler as a place to stay in Bright.

Fantastic property in a fantastic location
Spacious, well appointed house centrally located in a stunning location. A short stroll along footpaths into Bright, a short drive to so many more locations and activities. Stay in and cook in a well appointed kitchen, or stroll to fantastic local restaurants. Large bedrooms, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, TV's in all rooms, and a deck with mountain views to soak in afternoon drinks. The gaming machine with retro games a bonus to relive childhood memories.

Wonderful accommodation.
We had a wonderful stay at The Whistler and would highly recommend it for a perfect get away. Extremely roomy, well furnished, clean and modern. A short stroll into the town center. We will be back!

Whistler is a great place to get together with a few friends - plenty of room to socialize and still have your own space. It was very comfortable.

Awesome place to stay
Had an awesome experience booking this place. :) it is a large, spacious and clean home excellent for groups. I went with 10 of my friends and there was plenty of space! The kitchen was well equiped, all linen and towels were provided, they even had free shampoo! The home owners were lovely and allowed us to check out at 12 which was very apprieciated. Would definayely stay here again :)

Fantastic Accomodation
Great property and very comfortable. Could do with a better designed lounge suite.
The old school games machine also doesn't work and took a few of our $$. Looking forward to spending some more time at this property.
There was no outdoor heating and as a result we barely used the deck. The weather was still at night and having the warmth out there would have encouraged more use.
