Nestled in Texarkana, this attractive house for $249 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located spacious home near historic downtown area. Our home is located in a diverse, quiet, historic lot and block neighborhood. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Texarkana Regional Airport - 3.3 miles Wadley hospital - 1.2 miles Christus St. Michael - 4.9 miles. Texarkana Country Club - 2.8 miles Northridge Country Club - 4.8 miles Four States Fairgrounds- 4.5 miles. Built in 1902, this 3,400 sq ft 5 bedroom, 2 bath home sits just across the street and next door to our other listings, ‘The Pecan House’ and ‘The Boho House’. Across the street is our listing, ‘The Little House on Pecan’. Two blocks and around the corner is ‘The Hickory Hill House’. It is in the historic district just blocks from downtown Texarkana. Our home sits in the culturally and socioeconomically diverse historic downtown lot and block neighborhood of Texarkana, Arkansas, just blocks from the Texas and Arkansas state line. Multiple restaurants 1 to 4 miles away. It is just few blocks to the downtown historic and entertainment district. Approximately 2 miles south from I30. The large wrap around porch is inviting with approximately 650 sq foot of space. There is a table, chairs, and rocker for guest use. There is high speed FIBER OPTIC internet connected to four SMART TV’s. There are NO cable or satellite channels. There are steps with handrail to enter the front door but no stairs in the back. Large kitchen with breakfast area and built in desk. Front load washer and dryer, refrigerator, restored antique gas stove, dishwasher and necessary equipment to cook a meal. Formal dining area with round table and drop leaf table for additional seating. Large formal music room with baby grand piano, pump organ, sofa, chairs, and working gas fireplace. There is another large living area with smart TV, working gas fireplace, and plenty of seating. Downstairs master room with king sized solid oak canopy bed and smart TV. Just off the master is a full bath that serves the downstairs. There is also a sunroom with comfortable seating and another bedroom with double bed connected to the sunroom. Upstairs there is a large hallway with a secretary desk and sofa making a great reading area or space to relax with personal electronics. Three bedrooms upstairs including a larger master bedroom with king bed, smart tv, desk/dressing area, and seating area. Front room has lots of windows facing the front of the house (East side) with queen bed. Lastly, another large bedroom with two full sized beds, smart tv, and another sofa perfect for reading or personal electronic time. There is a bathroom with shower (no tub) that serves the upstairs. There is also a balcony with railing off the upstairs hall, reading area. The balcony is accessible but has a chain lock towards the top of the door to prevent small children from accessing the area without assistance. All bedrooms have blackout curtains.

We stopped here for a resting point on our road trip. The kids really loved having their own spaces and really enjoyed the piano. The house has so much room to spread out. Beautiful house!

Beautiful home very roomy and comfortable. Loved the washer and dryer since we needed to do laundry every night. Very close to downtown and any eatery we could want.

Worked great for our multi generational group. There were 10 of us, and there was enough space for us to enjoy being together and apart. We didn’t do very much cooking, but we were able to use the kitchen very easily for everything we did.

This house was very comfortable and had a homey feeling. Everything was very nicely decorated. We had 12 guests and had plenty of room. We had a small hiccup that was resolved immediately which was amazing considering it was Thanksgiving Day!!! The owners were very nice and accommodating. Everyone was very happy with everything, and we would stay there again. I highly recommend renting this house!!!

The White House is an awesome place to stay. The house is older and filled with lovely antiques and furnishings. The bedrooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. One of the best features is the front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a cool drink in the afternoon. It is well equipped with everything that you need. Our group loved staying at the house.

This property is so unique. 102 years old it almost feels like you're sleeping in a museum or historical tour, but you can feel the love that's gone into it. The pictures are accurate, but could never capture every little detail in each room. It is amazing. Your eyes can always find something new to admire. The house was clean and well-lit upon our arrival. The water heats up fast and the pressure is great. My kids loved having their own huge rooms and comfy beds. Communication with the owner is effortless. All the instructions are made very clear. If we ever find ourselves in Arkansas again, we will definitely revisit this beautiful home.
