On a passé un excellent séjour chez Monsieur João. L’appartement était propre, fonctionnel et disposait de tous les équipements nécessaires pour notre séjour : plaques de cuisson, micro-ondes, machine à laver, etc. Il n’y a pas de four, mais cela ne nous a pas posé de problème.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la magnifique vue sur l’océan depuis le balcon, ainsi que les deux bassins de la résidence, parfaits pour se détendre. La résidence et le quartier étaient très calmes, tout en étant situés dans la zone touristique de Funchal. Le centre-ville est accessible en moins de 10 minutes en voiture et des supermarchés se trouvent juste à côté, ce qui est très pratique.
Monsieur João est un hôte accueillant et disponible. Il nous envoyé toutes les indications nécessaires par whatsapp.
Le seul bémol était une odeur désagréable qui se dégageait du bidet dans la salle de bains.

The view is just breathtaking. Everything regarding booking was just as it should be.
Swimming pool was really good. We will most likely come back to Madeira, would definitely choose the apartment again.
I think the cleanliness of the apartment could be improved. The bathroom needs desperate renovation.
The furniture should be check as the dining table is getting unstable and damaged.

Vom Balkon aus hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Es ist wirklich toll, dass sich das Gebäude in der ersten Reihe befindet und sich die Wohnung im fünften Stock befindet (Aufzug ist vorhanden). Die Lage ist Top und könnte nicht besser sein. Direkt um die Ecke befindet sich der Supermarkt "Pingo Doce Lido" und bietet wirklich alles was man benötigt zum selber Kochen. In der Wohnung ist genug Geschirr zum Kochen vorhanden. Neben Kochplatten (kein Backofen) gab es auch Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine. Schlüsselübergabe hat problemlos via Code für eine Schlüsselbox funktioniert. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt genossen und würde wieder kommen sollte ich in der Nähe eine Unterkunft suchen. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es keine, man muss in der kostenpflichtigen blauen Zone parken (Kleingeld parat haben).
Man merkt der Wohnung an, dass sie schon älter ist (dem Aufzug nach scheint das Gebäude aus Mitte der 1980 Jahre zu sein). Insbesondere das Badezimmer ist alt und der Wasserdruck in der Dusche fast nicht vorhanden. Das WLAN reicht "fast" (manchmal ganz schwach, ist dann aber weg) nicht bis ins Schlafzimmer, im Wohnzimmer funktioniert es allerdings ohne Probleme. Auch 2-3 Tabs für die vorhandene Waschmaschine würden das Erlebnis verbessern, muss man halt selber mitbringen oder kaufen.
