I liked the location both overall and also just the specific little pocket of city its tucked away in. Somehow, much of the noise doesn't encroach into the small courtyard. It definitely gives that feeling of being pulled into a different and unique space.
The courtyard you enter into could be made to be a bit more enticing as a public space. It was more overgrown and disheveled than what is shown in the photo. I think it'd be nice if that space was a bit more inviting for people to spend time outside in the courtyard, because aside from that space there isn't really anywhere else to enjoy the vibe of the space.

Very happy with our stay at the Aega Hanok Guesthouse. It was something different, more traditional and the owner could not have been nicer. The location is excellent, a couple minutes from a subway station, in a quiet area. The futon beds on the floor were very comfortable and it was great sitting outside our room in the morning with a coffee.

Nothing, everything was great!

Located right next to Namsan station. Owner is nice.
The room was only slightly bigger than a King size bed. Didnt expect the room to be this small although it has a private toilet. The bathroom door frame was so low that I constantly banged my head while going in and out. You’d probably hit the ceiling if you were 180cm tall. No TV, fridge, slippers, water boiler or whatsoever. Only given a bottle of water and a small paper cup. I regretted renting this room the moment I stepped in. Could’ve got myself a big comfortable room anywhere else with a bit of top up.
