The location is perfect for family holidays, but a little remote for business if travelling is required from the lodge. In our case it took 40 minutes to get to our site from the lodge. The staff were lovely, and the pre-activation of the air conditioners and the TV being on a music channel to provide a pleasant first impression were all nice touches.
The lack of adequate cooking appliances, such as a stove, or at least an air-fryer, was disappointing considering the restaurant was only open to 6pm on the day we arrived and to 8pm on weekdays. When on business the possibility of getting back to the lodge in time to have a meal is limited and therefore, we had to travel to Thabazimbi for meals. Although the staff on duty were outstanding, the lack of visible management was slightly disappointing. In the event of an emergency there was little evidence that management would be able to assist. Lastly, there was no remote for the living room air conditioner and due to the preset temperature on this unit, the rom was too cold to be comfortably used. This is, however, a small concern as others may welcome the very cold temps. The mattress in the bedroom was comfortable, but below par in my opinion as it developed a depression where I was sleeping, albeit that I 6'4" tall and weigh 125kg. I managed to sleep well enough though, so this is a minor critique.

The facilities were great. The lodge had nice food. Multiple swimming pools was a plus!!
The 8km gravel road to the lodge was very bad. The game-drive times drives should be revised. Either early morning or late afternoon, when it's not very hot in summer.

The facilities such as the pool areas, gardens, some playgrounds.
The beds. You really need to change those beds. Ours was making some unbearable noise. We didn’t enjoy our sleep at all.
