We had a lovely stay. The cottage was really homely and had everything you could think of. The beds were really comfy and the location was great for what we needed. Thank you for the lovely welcome gift too, it was such a nice touch!
There are two nice pubs/restaurants nearby, and Calstock Social Club had lots of music nights on while we were there. It was also a great place for walking the dogs, with a field nearby and a lovely walk along the river with lots of birds and wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
Nothing we didn’t like as we had a lovely stay. The only small thing for us was that the bedroom curtains let quite a lot of light in, and we personally prefer a darker room for sleeping. Definitely just personal preference though and it wouldn’t put us off staying again.

The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. We were visiting family and it was very conveniently situated. The weather had turned colder so the cottage felt cool to us when we arrived. However there was a wood burner and two or three electric heaters so we were able to get it cosy.
The cottage could've been warmer when we arrived but we understand that with storage heaters this is difficult to do when the weather changes suddenly.

Great little cottage, cosy and snug. Having the ready laid log burner was a lovely surprise.
Nothing significant other than if I were being really picky there were a few areas that could have been cleaner but only from the point of view of a perfectionist.
