Other things to note Staying here you'll be centrally located to many parts of the city. The heart of Magazine St and its funky boutiques, bars, restaurants, and people watching are a short walk away. St. Charles Ave, the streetcar line, and major Mardi Gras parades are a few blocks further, through some of the most scenic and picturesque neighborhoods in the city. Uptown, Broadmoor, the Garden District, Central City, and the Warehouse District are accessible by rental bike or a 5 minute drive. A 10 minute Uber can get you to the French Quarter, Universities, and Carrollton neighborhood. Mid-City, the Marigny, Lakefront, and Bywater are just a bit further.
