I booked this room for an event stay from 13–15 February. My sister and I checked in around 10:10pm after work. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the start. The place felt spooky and unsafe. Parking was not included and required additional payment, which was inconvenient. Despite our concerns, we decided to proceed with the check-in. **Self Check-in:** Unlocking the mailbox was already a struggle. The lock was very old and poorly maintained. It took significant effort just to retrieve the key. **Entering the Room:** We spent nearly 15 minutes trying to enter the password because the keypad was faulty. When we pressed “5,” it would light up as “4” instead. It was incredibly frustrating. After several attempts and contacting the property, we finally managed to unlock the door. To make matters worse, the gate had no proper lock and the screws around the key area were loose, which made us feel completely unsafe. As soon as we opened the door, a large cockroach ran straight toward us. I screamed and ran away immediately. Thankfully, my sister managed to kill it. After calming down and entering the property again, I saw two more large cockroaches near the stairs. We immediately tried to contact the property agent, but it was already outside of working hours. The unit was dirty and poorly maintained. The bedsheets looked unclean, the couch was broken, and the mattress appeared dirty. We did not sit down or place any of our belongings inside because we felt extremely uncomfortable. I contacted Booking.com right away to report the issue and request a refund. We left the property by 11pm as we could not stay there any longer. The next morning, the property called me while I was already home, even though I had paid for the stay. They offered to send a cleaner, which was unacceptable given the condition of the unit upon arrival.
