The property was beautiful and modern. We needed a property with all facilities all on one level for a family member with mobility issues, so this was perfect.
The main bedroom needs a mirror near a plug socket and a few hooks on the back of the doors.

Relatively new property, fitted out to a high standard. Car parking space adjoining property.
Location was good, being relatively convenient to the beach at Runswick Bay and major areas of interest in the vicinity (e.g Whitby, Sandsend, Saltburn by the Sea).
MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE: One of the large glass panels around the outside elevated seating area has been poorly installed, resulting in it blowing out under a relatively modest wind (~20 mph). Fortunately, being safety glass, it didn't break but could result in serious injury if it fell on anybody passing by at the time. I tried twice to report it to Reception but nobody was available on site.
Detail on how to gain access to the property was missing some information related to the code, resulting in having to make a phone call - issue was quickly resolved, but not the best start to the break.
Summary guidance information on how to operate key appliances like the fire, heating, television etc was not included in the information pack, requiring reference to original manufacturers information - it could easily be made much simpler and more efficient.
Some glassware appeared to be missing/not replaced. Kitchen knives are in need of sharpening. Batteries on handsets should be checked, as some needed replacing. Lack of guidance on recycling and waste disposal.

The location was great and the lodge was lovely
The beds were really uncomfortable you can feel the springs though the mattress. Also the fridge was dirty had to clean our selfs, there were someone clothes labels in the drawer. The door didn’t lock at the living room and the blind couldn’t open at all
