Hospitality is wrong business for grumpy host as anything not in contract was too much trouble.

Room as pictured. Adequate for one night.

Hostile emails. Host is a Jekyll and Hyde character who wears a smile, but is angry underneath and seems to bear some grudge (possibly against guests). We wanted to leave without interaction in the morning but the CCTV cameras must have alerted her and we had to fib about enjoying our stay just to get out of there without further agro.

Very nice accommodation for an overnight stay that was good value for money.

The two bedrooms on top floor were perfect for an overnight stay for myself, my wife and our two grown up kids.

Just what we wanted! No, there isn’t the ‘flash’ of an over priced local hotel but it was great!

Host was lovely - friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Beds comfortable and parking great.

Location was good. The owner was very pleasant.

No lock on our room door so unable to leave anything of value in the room. We stayed at other accommodations and they had biscuits, breakfast bars and selection of tea bag’s. Unfortunately this one had one small jammy dodger pack and four opened tea bags for two days. Quite a poor show
