This was worth it for the view alone, however was much more. Nicely equipped little shepherds hut, perfect for two and a doggo. The area was fully fenced with a really generous amount of room which was just brilliant for the dog and very private, peaceful and quiet. The Welsh cakes were a very welcome touch when we arrived as was the ice tray in the freezer! Nicely located for a mooch in Hay on Wye and a beautiful walk along the river Wye with a paddle and lovely pub lunch. We would definitely visit again.
Nothing we didn't like, however a couple of things would have enhanced the stay even more. A couple of camping chairs would have made it easier to relax outdoors in comfort and would have allowed us to follow the shade in the evening (we stayed mid heatwave)! A little hook on the inside of the stable door would have been brilliant so we could have had the bottom closed and the top open. This would have been so handy. Neither things spoilt the visit at all.

1st time in a shepherds Hut , and I can honestly say we will be back . The location and views was fantastic . The hut was very comfortable, clean , cosy and had everything you needed . The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept in . The location was very private and pieceful. If you are wanting to stay to get away from the busy life style but willing to travel to different locations then this is the place for you .
The roads getting to the location was a little daunting if you are not use to country roads . But you are out in the countryside in the middle of wales
