Imagine having 100' of natural sand from which to jump into the lake to cool off on a hot summer day! This size beach usually belongs to a community-yet it’s ALL YOURS! Any fishermen in the group? Small-mouth bass are known to roam just beyond the beach. The dock will accommodate two boats up to 24 feet in length. Grab your coffee and enjoy sunrise on the beach. After your day of fun, you can meander down the private path to the bay side of the property for an evening beverage and enjoy gazing out to the pretty colors of the twilight sky at sunset. Peace, quiet and privacy are yours at this amazing property! The grounds are in keeping with the natural, wooded feel of a true lakefront retreat. Paths will lead you to the different waterfront areas. Imagine lazing in the hammock and finally getting to read that book everyone’s been talking about while listening to the rustling of the breeze in the trees and water meeting the shoreline. How about enjoying your morning wake-up rinse in the outdoor shower? After a rousing game of giant Jenga or Cornhole in the yard, you can swim out to the raft to relax and work on your tan. Don’t forget to start thinking up those ghost stories and jokes for around the fire pit while enjoying your evening s'mores (s'mores stick included). The architect designed home offers a true luxury vacation experience and shows every attention to detail. Offering 3 floors of living space; Thermador appliances in the Chefs kitchen, a Sonos sound system for your listening enjoyment in the kitchen and great room, fireplaces in both the great room and family room and furnishings by Restoration Hardware; not to mention water views from many rooms. You'll love spending time on the screen porch with heaters or the deck. For true indoor/outdoor living, the dining area opens up to the screen porch via folding doors which creates a large space for entertaining. There are 5 bedrooms plus a custom bunkroom with sleeping for 16 – 3 of the bedrooms have ensuite baths and the 1st and 2nd floor suites also enjoy private decks. Enjoy your evenings gathering in the lower level walk-out family room which opens up to the patio and offers a bar with seating plus a sink, ice maker, additional dishwasher and TV. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family if 16 had a wonderful vacation. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The equipment at the lake kept us occupied every day. The games in the house were in constant use. There were so many areas for different small groups of us to splinter off and just visit or play cards or other games. We did some sightseeing and found some fun places to eat. Hopefully another trip to Lake Winni is in our future and this same house would be our choice!

The home was inviting and clean with everything we needed; the property was well kept, and the location was great! We have booked for subsequent weeks upcoming in the summer and are looking forward to our return visits.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Best feature is the main beach which is sandy and perfect for small children. The house itself is well built, but not with small children in mind. Much of the furniture is too heavy for children to move it. The main dining table has a bench on one side which is very hard to move when sitting down. The screened in porch has furniture also not well suited to game playing by small children.There is a table for table tennis which was very disappointing. The rackets and balls provided are way to slow. Bring your own if you want to play. Also, the playing area must be enclosed with removable barriers so that the ball is not able to excape into the long grass as frequently happens.The second beach is nice but serves no real purpose since the main one is so much nicer.The boat dock is very nice and usuable for shallow draft vessels.The price was about twice what we usually pay for a house sleeping 12. It is only the shortage of available houses that we choose to pay it.The view is ok, but from the main beach you can not see any mountains. However, it is only a short boat ride out to the broads.Although the lot is very large, there are very noisy neighbors on one side. They play tennis with a loud radio accompanying them.Overall, we might rent again, but would be more likely to do so if the price comes down.

The location was idyllic and had everything we needed, especially the kitchen where we ended up cooking every night. We had plenty of room to spread out, home is well furnished and the beach and dock are about as good as you can get.
