It is difficult to express in words how wonderful this place is. We had a fantastic time here and fell in love with all it has to offer. The hosts (Stephen and Jenny) made contact with us prior to arrival via Whatsapp, and they were waiting for us when we arrived with friendly introductions and a tour to help us settle in. Nothing was too much trouble for them at all. They would ask what we had planned and then they would give us restaurant recommendations, car parking suggestions, local places to visit etc. they even made reservations on our behalf, such things go a long way. The apartment we stayed in had a lovely big kitchen, three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The unlimited filtered water was a nice touch also. The breakfast options were plentiful and Carla's home cooking was something i looked forward to every morning. She would make the best Cappuccinos, and for my wife (who prefers Tea) - Jenny stocked up on every blend you can imagine - another simple touch that was appreciated.
There is a large swimming pool with plenty of room, amazing views and comfortable sun loungers. We had a car and made our way into the nearby town of Castiglion Fiorentino some evenings (for lovely food and the cheapest Gelato in the region) and other evenings we would chill in the vineyard with a glass of wine and watch the sunset - you could almost feel guilty relaxing here while watching the team here work so hard !!
it was with a heavy heart that we had to leave at the end of our stay - everyone here went out of their way to ensure we left with nothing but happy memories - this is a holiday we will remember for a long time and without doubt - a place we intend to come back to
it's hard to think of anything to put here, we had such a lovely experience - i wanted to offer a suggestion of how to improve but Stephen and Jenny have really nailed it

Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour chez Stephen et Jennifer. Toute l'équipe était aux petits soins. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner préparé chaque matin par Carla, qui variait chaque jour avec des gateaux/plats fait maison et avec les produits du potager. Nous avons également pu cueillir nos tomates dans le potager !
La chambre est dans son "jus" mais cela en fait également le charme et ne retire rien à tout le confort nécessaire et fonctionnalité des équipements qui étaient au rendez-vous. Tout était niquel. Beaucoup de petits espaces aménagés sur la propriété, notamment un endroit pour prendre l'apéritif et regarder le coucher du soleil.
L'espace piscine et jacuzzi avec vue sur le Castello di Montecchio était irréprochable et incroyablement agréable et appréciable.
Nous avons également effectué la dégustation proposée par les hôtes avec tour de la propriété et dégustation de vins accompagnée de mets préparés Carla, que nous n'oublierons de si tôt ! Tout était excellent et l'expérience inoubliable.
Enfin, tout l'équipe présente est adorable et chaleureuse !! Ils sont très disponibles.
Nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

Voor steven
Wat een geweldige plek. We hebben hier echt een paar heerlijke dagen gehad en zouden zonder twijfel terugkomen.
Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelde het meteen goed. Alles is hier ontzettend laagdrempelig en ontspannen. Geen gedoe, geen stijve bedoening, maar gewoon lekker je eigen gang gaan. Het voelde eigenlijk alsof we bij vrienden thuis waren.
Steven is een fantastische gastheer. Hij neemt de tijd voor je, maakt graag een praatje en laat je vooral zelf bepalen hoe je je dagen invult. Voor ons maakte juist dat het verblijf zo fijn. We hebben veel gelachen, nieuwe mensen ontmoet en uiteindelijk veel meer van de omgeving meegemaakt dan we van tevoren hadden bedacht.
De plek zelf is prachtig. Midden tussen de wijngaarden, met honden, katten en allerlei andere dieren op het terrein. Je kunt hier heerlijk tot rust komen, maar als je zin hebt om iets te ondernemen, is er ook genoeg te doen.
De wijn, de proeverij en alle spontane dingen die we hebben meegemaakt waren leuke extra’s, maar het is vooral de sfeer die deze plek bijzonder maakt. Je voelt je hier geen toerist, maar gewoon even onderdeel van het geheel.
We gingen uiteindelijk met best wel wat pijn in ons hart weg. We hadden hier makkelijk nog langer kunnen blijven.
Dus als je een plek zoekt waar je kunt ontspannen, goede wijn kunt drinken, leuke mensen kunt ontmoeten en je vooral even helemaal thuis wilt voelen: hier moet je heen.
Wij komen volgend jaar in ieder geval terug.

Beautiful location, perhaps one of the most beautiful places I've seen in my life.
The owners are from the USA and have little understanding of how an italian B&B should look like; they are both very nice, but they are running the place as an american B&B, rather than a truly italian one.
