Absolutely amazing property, would definitely return.

Electric went out a couple of times but hosts very quickly sorted it.

First of all, the bus is located in a five -six acre field for your sole use! There is a static caravan in a field on the other side of the track about 200 metres away, and farm buildings in another field about the same distance. As other reviewers have commented, the views are spectacular all around the site. The hosts have built a sheltered area next to the bus with a pallet couch and table. It was lit with festoon lights and had a good sized barbecue for client use. The bus itself was very clean and had a number of lighting options. The shower room and toilet were spotless, with instant hot water through the gas boiler (carbon monoxide alarm next to boiler). The twin beds at the back of the ground floor would be perfect for kids, there is also some storage space under each bunk. The kitchen does not have a hob, but there is a big electric griddle and a microwave to use. There is also a toaster and a kettle. The fridge is big enough for few days of supplies. There are plenty of plates and bowls, cutlery and utensils, but we could have done with a larger mixing bowl for food prep etc. We had a camping stove with us; we used it on the concrete fire pit plinth outside which came in handy, so you may want to consider bringing one. The bedroom upstairs was lovely, as was the lounge area. The hosts had laid on blankets which was a nice touch. We didn't need the sofa bed, but it wouldn't compromise the space much if you did need to use it. You can get kindling and logs from the Nisa local shop on the road to Cardigan. The fire pit was put to good use on the dry nights. With the beach a short drive away (National Trust car park) and local shops up on the main road, you really are looking at a great package for a lovely break. It would be a real adventure for kids, and there is loads to do in the surrounding area. We had a lovely time here!

We appreciate that allowing dogs does create extra cleaning time for hosts, and don't mind paying an extra charge with this in mind. I would have appreciated transparency on the additional cost at the booking stage rather than a message after I had paid for the booking. I thought £40 for the three night stay was a bit steep to be honest, so you should contact the host to ascertain the cost before you book. A washing line would have been handy for beach towels etc.

The room is a converted double-decker bus, which can accommodate up to seven people. It is surprisingly spacious and even has cooking facilities and a shower. There is also a very large open grass area, which is perfect for stargazing at night. It is just over a 10-minute drive to New Quay.

Beds were great, view was great and lots of freedom. Fire pit was also really good
