I don't know where to begin. I only planned to stay in this property for 3 nights but ended up staying for more than a week. The views from the property are breathtaking! Another reason for extending my stay was the people there — Rahul (Volunteer) and Vinod bhaiya (property manager) made sure my stay was comfortable and fun. I was travelling solo and naturally I was a little nervous, but as soon as I reached the property I met Rahul and a few other travellers, and from that moment it's just been a super fun ride! Rahul took the initiative of taking us out on adventures and day trips, and kept the party going! I came to the property alone but I left with beautiful memories and some lifelong friendships. So, if you're a solo traveller planning to visit Sangla, there's no better place to be than Zostel!
Nothing could have been better. It was perfect.

Overall, a good stay! I remember that the room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. We were also positively impressed by the bathroom and the hot shower.
More attention could be paid to the overall hygiene of the common space. That space was always full of flies. Food plates were often left on the tables, only to be cleaned the next morning. The same goes for the tables on the outside terrace; the plates and ashtrays were often left there, only to be cleaned the next morning. Rather than critique, these suggestions should be read as opportunities for improvement.
