We felt comfortable day 1! The cottage was beautiful with modern amenities but a rustic feel being set in the trees. The AC, TV and Internet worked flawlessly and the rooms down stairs were perfect for the kids. The laundry was amazing to have for washing towels and swimsuits regularly with our daily trips to the beach. We recommend bringing a small wagon as the walk is short but long enough that a wagon would have been helpful. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay and Morgan was an excellent host!

The house had everything we needed for a family of six, all kids seven and under. The private beach is great as you can avoid the chaos of the main beach. The host was super responsive which was appreciated.

The property was very nicely situated, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor features, gazebo and fire pit. My husband and I are both in our seventies and not small and though still fairly agile we found that the queen size bed in what we called the master bedroom with the patio windows was exceptionally high and difficult to get into. A lower set king size bed in that or the other main floor room would have made everything absolutely perfect. The younger members of our family were happy with beds in the other rooms. An added feature would be a portable clothes rack to hang wet swimsuits and towels out in the sun to dry therefore reducing the need to use the dryer. I would highly reccomend this property.

We had an absolute wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for a weekend escape with some friends. It was cozy and private. It was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed and the hosts were great at communicating. Even though it was cold when we went we enjoyed the short walk to the beautiful beach. Our favourite part was the fireplace and cozy feeling. We even woke up in the morning to a dusting of snow, it really was the perfect weekend retreat.

Our family recently stayed at this lovely cabin in the woods. It's so close to a beautiful beach on Lake Huron - a five minute walk. We had two little ones and the cottage layout was great for us. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed - including a really nice washer/dryer and a well-equipped kitchen! The outdoor, netted seating area was wonderful in the evenings. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet beach getaway.

This property stood out among many we browsed thru on the site. We waited excitedly for over 3 months since booking and weren't wrong. When we arrived, we were truly wowed - super clean and very welcoming that we all instantly felt like home away from home. The property inside and out made us remember how much we all needed a vacation - quite area, very peaceful and quiet. Property is secluded and surrounded by the mature forest, which brought a lot of childhood memories for us, the adults. Beach is a 5 minute walk and superb. Lake looks and feels that you are somewhere in Caribbean. Morgan is a very attentive owner. I had many questions for her, which she kept answering politely and timely manner. Thank you for everything and we're already dreaming of another week next summer. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property. You won't be disappointed! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
