Charming holiday cottage only minutes away from the town's facilities. Comfortably furnished and sensibly set out. Decent kitchen facilities for those wishing to cater for themselves.
Only slight negative to report was the need to step down to the small landing area when moving between bedroom and bathroom (potential issue for older visitors)

Location was excellent around 100 yards from the town, station and canal
Facilities were very good and the parking permit was a nice bonus
The sofa bed was ok for a small child but mattress uncomfortable for a teenager or adult

Location
On entering the cottage we were severely disappointed. There is a severe lack of daylight downstairs and with the grey and beige colour palette it just felt so drab. However, it’s probably not as bad on dull winter days with the fire lit.
The kitchen was lacking in some basic equipment and the pans and trays looked grubby so i wouldn’t use them. The bedroom and bathroom were acceptable.
