Beautiful property with lovely pool and suite, and very clean
Things to be aware of when booking:
- Property is right on the highway. Do not expect quiet by the pool - you can hear the sounds of the traffic on the neighbouring roads
- Minimal restaurants within walking distance (and walking anywhere requires walking along busy highways without footpaths)
- Says on booking.com that it offers a la carte or italian breakfast but there was no sign of this
- Resort doesnt allow you to bring in food or drink from outside. All of the above makes it very difficult to arrange meals
- Says airport shuttle service is available, but this simply involved the accomodation contact providing a phone number for you to call a taxi yourself. They said it would be 15 euros but no taxi driver would agree to this. It is very close to the aiport yet taxi drivers don't seem to want to do the short trip, therefore it ends up being 20+ euros for a 7 minute drive
- No spot to store luggage after check out. Only option is to pay for it in town in Cagliari which is a cab ride away
- No opportunity to sit in the open communal area after checking out of the room. We understand this may not be feasible if extremely busy, however we were the only people on the entire site (and were even told this by management) and yet we were told we had to pay an extra 20 euros per head just to sit around, or otherwise we had to leave. This was our last stop on our two week Italy trip (which involved 5 other hotels/bnbs) and we had no trouble doing this at any other accommodation in scenarios where our flights/transfers were later than check out.
We booked this accommodation for one night due to proximity to the airport, but the logistical issues (when not having a car) relating to transport, luggage, food and lack of flexibility meant it was far less convenient than we had hoped.
