It’s very peaceful and calm place, very nicely decorated inner courtyard. The beach is very close and rather clean, very comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast is in a very nicely styled Gua Restaurant. Best rate goes to the designer, as the whole space is done in same very tasteful style. Food in the restaurant for dinner is tasty and nicely served. Also cocktails are tasty and well done
Unfortunately my child could not find anything to eat in the breakfast menu. Simple fried eggs would have been great instead of hard boiled. The bathroom would need rather serious update, in the evening electricity was interrupted as well as internet. So if you need to work during the holidays, this hotel is not reliable. Also the air conditioning is build in the way that only first floor of Quadruple room is cooling. The top level with the kingsize bed stays hot. Also towel holder was not holding and fell down.

We stayed at Kalia Beach Hotel Side as two families—ours with 4 people and our relatives with 5, booking 4 rooms in total. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They helped us find the most convenient room combination for our group, which made a big difference.
A special thanks to Mr. Arslan, the hotel manager. He is a true professional with deep experience in tourism—he manages the hotel effortlessly and anticipates every guest’s need before they even say a word.
The hotel mainly consists of one-floor rooms, with a few rooms on a second level. Those upper-floor rooms can get warmer, but all are equipped with well-functioning air conditioning. We also loved the little seating areas and sun loungers right outside each room—perfect for relaxing together in the evenings.
The beach is just a few steps away, and it's fantastic—shallow, calm, and safe for children. You can also enjoy fun water activities like parasailing and jet-skiing nearby.
The location is another huge plus: walking distance to historic Side, with its beautiful ruins, restaurants, and nightlife. If you want peace and quiet or a fun night out, both are easily accessible.
The hotel’s restaurant is also worth mentioning. The service is excellent, thanks especially to Ali, the head waiter. He’s incredibly experienced, and things run like clockwork under his care.
There’s really nothing major we didn’t like. The Wi-Fi could be stronger in some areas, and the upper-floor rooms naturally get warmer in the summer heat—but the air conditioning works well, so it’s not a big issue.

Location was perfect walking distance to town and ruins. Beach was clean. Beach staff and restaurant staff very hard working and switched on.
Kids room wasn’t cleaned out properly before they moved in as there was men’s underwear and a handbag left in the wardrobe. Second night one bed sheet wasn’t replaced so there was a bare mattress.. on the last night our shower head broke off. Mosquitoes in the rooms , I asked reception if I could get fly spray, the boy was taken aback apparently in the years of his service never has a guest asked for such a thing?
Breakfast service was weird, too much cheese served per person, no juice offered at breakfast for the kids but 800gr of cheese was ?
Although we were at the hotel, I had to pay as I went along, so I needed to carry my belongings always. Booking.com said I would have a massage of 15 per room. This was not mentioned nor offered at the property.
