“Solitaire is located just a short stroll one of Far North Queensland’s most spectacular beaches – Mission Beach - voted in the top 10 holiday destinations of the world! This tropical style home consists of two pavilions with a large covered entertaining deck/breezeway with plunge pool - connecting the two. The covered plunge pool is perfect to cool off during those hot summer days or warm tropical evenings.
One pavilion includes the kitchen and living room with a servery opening out to the entertaining area. The other pavilion consists of the three bedrooms which also open onto the entertaining area.
The master bedroom, with ensuite and WIR can be utilised on its’ own - for couples or solo travellers. The second and third bedrooms consist of a queen bed and two king singles and share their own bathroom and separate toilet. This layout gives great flexibility with Solitaire being suitable for one, two or three bedroom occupancy.
Solitaire is also within a short walk to Mission Beach shopping village . The quaint shopping village of Mission Beach offers a selection of cafes, restaurants, bars. There is also a great fruit and vegetable store, mini mart and specialty food store/bakery.
The first and third Sunday of each month there are markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Monster Markets are Last Sunday of month from Easter Sunday to November
It is great fun strolling around the village shops and galleries.
During the stinger months (November to May) there is a stinger enclosure at Mission Beach, this is within 3 minutes walk from your front door!
Woolworths Supermarket is just a 5 - 10 min drive from Mission Beach village. It is located at Wongaling Beach.
The new swimming pool is located at Mission Beach including a hydrotherapy pool.
The “Dunk and Splash” water play pad is on the foreshore of Wongaling Beach.

Great dog friendly accommodation with shady outdoor breezeway and plunge pool to cool off all within an easy walk to the shops markets and restaurants and the beach. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds and bathrooms.A few minor issues need attention but did nog detract from the overall stay.

We had a lovely relaxing Easter at Solitaire with the family! The kids loved the pool and the indoor/outdoor areas were great. The short walk to the beach and town were also appreciated. A floor plan in the listing would help to show the layout of the house, but the separate living and sleeping pavilions worked well for our family. We would love to stay at Solitaire again!
