The outside of the house needed a nice pressure washing as well as the inside has a smoky smell from cigarettes.

It was nice to find this property available on short notice in the summer. Our family grew up in Sandusky and are fully aware that finding lodging in the area during the summer can be difficult. We needed this on short notice to attend a funeral. (Plus a couple other VRBO rentals and some hotel rooms -- a large extended family.) For the family subset that stayed in this rental (4 age 50+ siblings, 2 with spouses and 7 adult single children) the bedrooms, bed specifics (lots of singles/twins) and bathroom count were ideal. The house offers several different spaces for smaller groups to visit. It is open, airy and uncluttered. You will be able to tell it is new construction targeted to be a rental. No closets, but small armoires in the bedrooms. No pantry cabinets to store non-perishable food in the kitchen. But two refrigerators and two dishwashers. We could not figure out how to use the smart-tvs (none of us use tv-streaming in our own homes), but it was not important enough for us to bother to ask the host (or Ted, the owner) for "how to use" instructions.

We would love to stay here again! It was perfect for our needs!

This space was perfect for our annual girls trip. The house had plenty of space and had everything we needed. The views of Lake Erie were perfect! Ted responded to messages very quickly and Heather was nearby if we had any issues and very helpful with tips for the area.

Our crew members enjoyed staying at this property. The house has everything you need to make your stay a safe and comfortable experience. Ted and Heather are excellent host. We will defiantly be staying again.
