Luxury meets art in this unique cottage that feels like it has been here forever, yet it was built only a few years ago. Wood beams, shiplap walls, sunlight-kissed kitchen (don't forget to ask us about having your groceries delivered and put away for you when you arrive) and a cozy loft bedroom with queen bed. This delightful dwelling is filled with unique collections of art and whimsy by the owner, who is a renowned sculpture artist. This adorable cottage is also pet friendly for your furry friend. Please note that it does not have a fenced yard, so you will need to bring a leash for walks. Outdoor space includes a patio made from native stone with fire pit and charcoal grill. Mentone offers artist's & antique shops and restaurants. Nearby activities include golf, DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve, camping, hiking along rivers & waterfalls. Saturday mornings are for walking to the local farmers market located just blocks from Blue Crest Cottage. (at the blinking light). Evenings are for grabbing your favorite wine and heading to brow park to enjoy some of the best sunsets you've ever seen!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Crest Cottage! It was sooo cold outside but we were nice and cozy inside. The cottage felt very homey and I was impressed how nice and well-maintained it was. Being in the winter some things I most appreciated was how the heat rose up and kept the loft bedroom nice and warm and that the shower was quick to warm up with plenty of hot water! The location was perfect with lots of things within walking distance (I strolled over to Mentone Market several times!). We felt tucked away enough that we had privacy but super close to anything we wanted to get to. This was our first trip to Mentone and we definitely wan to come back and would stay at a Delightful Retreats property again in a heartbeat!

This was a perfect birthday getaway with my husband. Very relaxing and easy living for the weekend with a great area for some scenery in nature. The cutest little cottage I've ever stayed in. I already want to come back, Leave me in Mentone!

Cottage was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtful touches. Bed was comfortable and I was happy there was a bathroom right upstairs near the bed. Great location near many Mentone restaurants and attractions. No issues whatsoever. We had a lovely stay.

Cottage is conveniently located. Enjoyed the patio and fire pit. The bedroom upstairs is small but manageable. All in all a relaxing place to stay.

Loved our stay in Mentone. Holly was great to deal with… everything was so easy. Will plan to come back again with our grown daughters and their families! Blue Crest Cottage was charming, clean, comfortable. So close to all the downtown activities.

The cottage and outside sitting/fire pit area were great. Interiors, bedding and amenities were unique and cozy! We had everything we needed for our short stay. Convenient location for walking to dinner, the market and a gorgeous sunset at Brow Park. Holly was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our visit.

Having never been to Mentone we were so blessed upon arrival. The cabin was charming and the attention to detail made our stay wonderful! Close to a must, pizza from Mentone Market! We’d love to return!

This is THE perfect place to stay in Mentone if you want closeness to Desoto Falls and/or Desoto State Park, incredible walking distance easts at Elevation Bistro and Wildflower Cafe, great local shopping, Saturday farmer's market. Will 100% be back!

I really enjoyed my stay in the Blue Crest Cottage and the surrounding grounds and area. The charm level of BCC is boosted by the decor, provisions for complete comfort and coziness. The tallness of the completely updated cottage is great feature which lends a storybook/treehouse feel. The kitchen is very inviting both functionally and in a "let's just hang out here' way and has a picture window that naturally draws your eyes to pond, sculptural art, beautiful stone patio, and the developing gardens. the practicalities of a very convenient laundry, upstairs and downstairs bathroom, very inviting living area and sleeping loft adds up successfully. The adjacent rental next door is equally outstanding. Mentone is uniquely great place to be, because of its incredible geology ecology natural beauty, It continues to defy time even as more people discover, invest and live there. The sense of community is palpable. It is an absolute must to explore beyond the grounds and experience meandering lanes, cohesively vernacular lodges camps and houses, gardens and ephemeral surprises of a place so naturally beautiful, inviting, and quiet. As is the case in many areas of Mentone the individual personalities of place come in full view. There is a forest, sky, and wind experience that is expansive and you can fell it. I highly recommend cycling the areas backroads as traffic is very light, people wave and nature envelopes you. The highlight of my trip was a very small bike ride sampling the sights of hidden gems in the very local neighborhood surrounding the BCC culminating with a sunset on the brow which cant be put into words When it is time to come "home" you get the feels driving in private gravel drive and seeing the eclectic grouping of buildings objects and garden areas. The owner takes her established art career and shares it inside the cottages and the grounds. If you are lucky enough to hear the stories of the buildings, sculptures, the history of the turn of the century lake and landing that used to be a part of community life in long ago Mentone, take advantage of it. So many connections and stories to experience.

The cabin itself is like new, clean and instantly makes you feel like you are home. Every need is taken care of. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture just asking for you to get cozy! The location of the cabin is ideal. Right in the heart of Mentone. Close to the Market. A must visit for gourmet snacks, wine, local gifts, bacon biscuits and great coffee!! With the added plus of friendly people both the owners and the local shoppers who are very happy to share their towns great must see spots. Straight out the cabin door leads you on a wildflower hike, meandering along peaceful paths. Although, just having a seat in the garden of Blue Crest Cottage is its own treat. Made even better with wine and cheese. You can not ask for a better place to be when you want to explore Mentone and the surrounding areas. The scenery and the serenity is such a rare combination. There was just not enough time to take it all in. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and re-energize this cabin, Mentone and the land around are true gems.

this cottage is in the perfect location. walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the brow for sunset. and easy drive to incredible hikes, waterfalls, and adventures! we went horseback riding and it was epic! short 5 min drive to t he stables. also the cottage was very quiet. as someone who often has trouble sleeping i was so grateful that it was very quiet. got great sleep the entire time! kitchen was had everything i needed to prepare meals and AC was incredible for this hot summer! highly recommend and will def be back!
