Sleeps 8 plus a pull out couch for flexibility. Large back porch overlooking the West River Brook. Close to ski areas and Jamaica State Park. Country store a half mile away with groceries, wine, prepared foods, deli and some gifts. Manchester with its shops and restaurants within 30 minutes. Weston with the Vermont Country store and other shops and restaurants nearby as well. Come enjoy our country setting on a dirt, town maintained, dead end road right off VT Route 30. The property is next to beautiful meadows and by the river. Relax by the fire pit or dine on the porch overlooking the river. Ski, hunt or hike or see sites like Townshend State Park, Hamilton Falls and the Ball Mountain Dam. Come and relax with your family in our new build cabin close to skiing and Jamaica State Park on the West River Brook. Many restaurants and shopping near by. Thirty minutes to Manchester Center.

By far, the cleanest vrbo I've ever rented. This place has everything you need. Right on the river, you can tube down it or walk through a path to a swimming hole. The owners could not have been more helpful - so responsive, but also left us to enjoy our weekend. Super-easy check-in/out. Book this cabin, you will not regret it!

We loved every bit of this property and our stay. Convenient location to restaurants and hiking. The hosts provide the first breakfast of eggs, english muffins, and bacon and oj. Plenty of coffee making options from a Keurig, regular pot and even an espresso maker. Coffee grounds included. This is a well stocked kitchen to be able to bring food and cook. The downstairs bed was very comfortable and right next to the main bathroom. The river is directly out the backdoor and fun to wade in when the water isn’t too high. We would highly recommend this vacation spot.

The cabin is spacious but cozy, clean and had everything we needed, Including stuff to make a wonderful breakfast! Above and beyond. Hosts were fantastic and communication was great. Can’t recommend highly enough. Loved the river and the fire pit. We’ll surely be back!

From the beautiful setting - a rushing river just off the rear deck - to the lovely home and hosts that offered basically everything you’d need, this was a great retreat for our family. The owners are great to work with. They have done a great job of setting up the house for guests and are available to help make sure that you have a great vacation. We will definitely stay here again!!

Traveled from Dallas/Fort Worth via Boston for a surprise long weekend getaway for my wife's birthday based on our friends' recommendation who stayed there recently. It was even better than expected! The cabin is incredibly clean, well decorated, and stocked with everything you could think of for an awesome home away from home. There is a lot to see in the surrounding area and the drive from Boston wasn't bad at all. Our friends came with us for the weekend and the layout of the cabin worked out really well. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom (one upstairs and one down) and the shared spaces were great - game room and tv upstairs, large dining table, stocked and functional kitchen, and a cosy living room to watch a movie in after a long day! There is a nice deck in the back with a great view of the creek which was pretty high while we were there and made a great addition to the ambience of the place with the noise of the moving water. We would love to stay again and bring our kids next time (they will love the creek area to explore and play in)! The owners are so kind, easy to work with, and responsive. They have really thought of everything to make this an incredible place. We look forward to seeing y'all again! Book this place...you wont be disappointed!

An immaculate property inside and out that made us feel at home. We had eggs, bacon, orange juice, coffee, and more waiting for us in the fridge so we could make breakfast in the morning. The owners are beyond welcoming. Can't wait to bring the kids back in the summer and spend more time at the Wishing Well! A new family favorite for us. Can't say enough good things.

The owners have truly thought of everything you may need to stay here. Like others, I hesitate to boast about it too much, as I want it to be available next time we need a place to stay in the area but frankly, you’d be missing out if you don’t book. It’s beautifully decorated, with thoughtfully sourced items that set a tone and feel of comfort. Spaces and bedrooms are very well thought out and very well appointed. One of the best places we have rented through this site and other sites as well. Owners were so kind, flexible, easy to work with and thoughtful in every way, leaving us food for breakfast and making sure we had morning coffee as well which is a massive plus in our opinion! Thanks so much for allowing us to stay and greeting us with such kindness, generosity, and hospitality. We really can’t wait to get back to the cabin again and enjoy all it and the area has to offer!

We loved staying here! The house is very welcoming and cozy. I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door! They had everything we needed and then some! We were able to visit the area when the leaves were changing and the back yard was full of fall colors! It was nice to play yard games and enjoy the scenery!

The first thing that impressed us was how much thought, care, and love was put into creating the cabin— myriad little details. The cabin has everything you might need for your vacation, exactly where and when you need it. The nature of Vermont doesn't need any additional words; it's simply beautiful. Spend a night at the fire pit, go for a swim in the river, or just spend some time inside with many board games available - you'll enjoy every minute of it. David and Carol are great hosts, and their neighbors are nice people. We hope to be back one day!

This was literally the nicest VRBO I've stayed in. Building and furniture were beautiful. It was immacuately clean and well stocked. Plenty of seating bedding and towels for our large party. The hosts live next door and were very pleasant. They gave us spices helped us start a fire. We loved the firepit by the stream and new Weber grill. I highly recommend this VRBO.

A lovely cabin in beautiful Jamaica Vt. Extremely well stocked, with everything needed for a great stay, even pancake mix and extra toothbrushes. Hosts are very nice and helpful, while giving you complete privacy. We would enjoy staying again but expect it’s going to be very popular and hard to book.

We had a great long weekend at the Wishing Well Cabin! So much thought has been put in to all of the details that made the stay amazing. Dave is an excellent property manager that responds quickly to requests and goes the extra mile to be helpful. The close proximity to several state parks makes for some wonderful hiking opportunities and the swimming hole that Dave gave us directions to (short walk from cabin) can't be beat. Our long weekend was too short - we hope to come back!

We came to stay for a week with our family as a getaway and we had an unbelievable time!!! The cabin is gorgeous!! very new and updated!! we especially enjoyed the little added touches the owner made to take it up a level!! there was even breakfast for the 1st morning (lasted all our whole time)!!! We had some rain so the river right outside was high so we had a great time tubing down it!! Then we hiked to the swimming hole and stayed there all day!!! The games both inside and outside the house were AWESOME!!! The owners were incredible! Helping us with making a fire, taking our kids for a spin, and just overall lovely people!!! Thank you for giving us such a magnificent vacation!!!

This property is by far the best I have ever stayed at. Perfect setting on the river, short path to a swimming hole, linens and supplies provided were over and above anything else I've experienced. The house was immaculate, comfortable and beautifully decorated. David is an excellent communicator - so many great things about this property!

A group of 6 stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect!! The house had everything you could ever need. Everything was clean and so organized. You can tell they are caring hosts. A peaceful place

A peaceful place

As soon as you walk in you can feel how much care was put into your comfort. This is the most well thought out house I have stayed at. You can tell there has been great effort in the details. If you forget something I’m sure you’ll find it there. The house is immaculate. We spent most of our time exploring the river and island footsteps from the porch. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed the games provided. Jamaica, Vt. is one our favorite places to relax. This will be our first choice if available for future trips. Thank you!!
