About this house rental
Stunning lake & mountain views with easy water access, big private dock, and fire pit. This upscale lakefront lodge in a gated community sleeps large groups comfortably across multiple levels. Water equipment included: paddleboards, canoe & paddleboat. Spacious kitchen, beamed living room with fireplace, sunroom, bunk room, and a renovated addition with folding patio doors. Minutes from Marion & Morganton. Biltmore, Grandfather Mountain & Linville Falls nearby.
The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
•Load and start the dishwasher
•Gather used towels
•Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
•Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
•Start a load of towels and leave beds turned down. •Brush off grill
•Make sure all fires are extinguished
•Put outdoor equipment and furniture back in original place.
•Take excess trash to the convenience center located outside the main entrance gate, turn right and it is on the left. Please check hours, it is closed on Sundays.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Absolutely No smoking, no pets, no groups over 10, no events/gatherings. Do not leave trash outside containers/remove excess trash.

The place looked very beautiful on the outside. Our view was amazing! All that being sad, I think there are some things that could be better.
The master smelled awful, even the comforter. There was a cigarette smell. The toilet in the master smelled of body odor. Also in the master, the tv will not connect to the WiFi. We tried everything.
A good amount of the lightbulbs were burned out. There are hardly any light near the fireplace and on the deck. We were unable to visit either of those spots when it got dark.
I think it may be time to get new towels Even after washing them, they smelled of mildew.
Hardly any of the showers doors worked. The light is out in the master shower, so you can’t see much.
The water on the refrigerator doesn’t work, and the ice is a little gross
I guess these are just some things that need to be worked out..especially for the amount of money we paid.
I’m so sorry for all the bad news, but we still had the best time.
