The backdrop of rock and cypress trees can be explored by the stone pathway that follows the natural contours of the hillside, as it winds its way up to various seating spots.

A 300m stroll downhill brings you to the local bar and shop selling essentials. The nearby village of Ljuta (6km), on the River Ljuta, has a couple of traditional restaurants where you can enjoy lunch or dinner on the riverside (refreshingly cool in the summer). The delightful small town of Gruda (7km) has a couple of supermarkets and cafes, as well as two restaurants, while further afield the fabulous UNESCO city of Dubrovnik (34km) is a must visit. The clear waters of the Adriatic sea can be enjoyed at Molunat (18km), a charming fishing village with a beach and cafes.
