Perfectly located within walking distance to downtown Sitka, this beautifully decorated home is sure to put you at ease while you relax in the comfort of all the modern amenities available to you.
Enjoy views of Mount Edgecumbe volcano when you sit on the deck sipping your morning coffee while you smell the fresh ocean air or when come back at the end of the day to relax with a glass of wine and watch an amazing Sitka Sunset.
Indoors you will find luxurious furnishings tastefully done with convenience and functionality in mind as well as amenities unique to Scales and Shells. The open floor plan allows you to interact with the rest of your family and guests as you cook in a gourmet kitchen equipped with everything a chef would need to prepare a 5-star meal. Here you will find beautiful counter tops, stainless steel appliances, propane cooktop and oven, dishwasher and plenty of quality pots and pans in all sizes. Additional items such as a microwave, coffee maker and bean grinder, blender, toaster, mixer, utensils, and wine bottle opener are available for a perfect cooking experience.
The dining area seats six comfortably to enjoy your meals and there are also four stools at the kitchen island for additional seating.
The living room has a comfy sofa, loveseat and two chairs where you can gather to chat about the day or just veg out in front of the large flat panel TV.
The downstairs master bedroom has a King size plush mattress which will make you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. All linens throughout the house are high quality; down comforters are available for every bed.
The bath features a soaking tub and shower head.
The extra guest bedrooms are a great place for kids or additional guests to sleep. Two guest rooms have king size beds, the fourth room has a queen size bed.
Newly added to one lower level guest room for additional sleeping, one over two twin bunk bed.

The house of clean and well kept. The location was perfect for being within walking distance to most things Sitka. The property manager was very nice to work with. We arrived late at night and needed to have distilled water for a C-Pac machine. I called the afternoon we were to arrive and asked whether it could be arranged to have distilled water at the house and it was!

There were 8 of us in our party. The place was perfect for us. Plenty of comfy beds, the living room is very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook and the location was great.I would definitely stay here again
