"Home away from home" is a cliché but it really does fit this property. I like my coffee made in a certain way, so I took a French press (cafetiere) with me. When I checked the kitchen cupboards I felt foolish. There were four cafetieres of different sizes in the kitchen, as well as a bean grinder, a filter coffee machine and other coffee equipment, plus sugar, sweeteners, instant coffee, ground coffee and ten types of tea bags. It was the same with every other piece of kitchen equipment you could ask for (plus the all important dishwasher and washing machine). The living room felt like home as well: huge sofa and huge TV. Massive dining table with hundreds of plates, side plates, bowls, place settings. Everything is sorted so you can just relax. A busy road outside had me worried but the double-glazed windows did their job and let me sleep well. The host was available and friendly when I needed to contact him but left me alone to enjoy my holiday. No steps at all to access the property or inside the property.
An allocated parking spot would be nice but there's plenty of parking nearby and there is room to do temporary loading/unloading just outside the front door.

At the end of our holiday, it was great to stay somewhere with plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. The washer and drier were greatly appreciated.
Paddy was a great host and ensured we had everything we needed.

the location suited us very well as we were visiting relatives in copthorne. very convenient for local small
supermarket and pubs. the flat was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. easy parking outside the flat
the kitchen is rather tired and dated. the TV was watchable but needs repairing. the fan in the bedroom was covered with dust and obviously hadn't been used for a long while

Amazing self-catering accommodation that exceeded all expectations in terms of size and equipment and kitchen supplies. My only big problem was the terrible mattress. I could feel all the springs sticking in to me and it was old and sagging. Unfortunately, I work verrrrry long shifts and needed a great rest. The apartment supplied it, but the one and only bed was a disaster. Also appreciated the designated parking space.
Bed needs a totally new mattress. I left with a very sore back and my body and was in terrible pain from the awful mattress :-(
