The property was in a great location for us. The rooms were extremely clean & spacious. The hosts were so kind & helpful we were very pleased from the start to the end of the holiday! The food in Big Max restaurant
Was fab too! The hotel also provided us with our own pick up transfer from the airport to the hotel and a really reasonable price. Overall we had a fantastic stay, we would definitely rebook with Big Max Guesthouse in the future, Thank you so much for a great experience;)

The place is right at the top of the strip so you don't hear the music from the clubs or drunken people.
Everything on the strip is in walking distance.
The rooms look exactly like the pictures.
Being right behind the restaurant, the owners were always on hand and they were friendly and helpful.
Fruit was in my room on arrival, which was nice, could have done with some water though, but I think that was an oversight rather than they don't also give that.
There's soap and shampoo, which I wasnt expecting, so that was nice. It would be great if cream was added to the make it a trio. Toilet tissue was provided when asked for it.
Cleanliness - I assume there may have been been a leak or something as the fridge and bathroom door had mould at the bottom as though there had been a flood or something. Therefore didn't feel comfortable using the fridge. Otherwise the room was recently renovated to a good standard so was clean and fresh. My room was cleaned during my stay but I noticed marks I'd made were still there after cleaning. I used my own wipes to clean up but maybe some disinfectant wipes left in the room or some other cleaning things would be useful. White towels weren't particularly white.
Water - I'm not sure if this is a Kavos-wide thing as I encountered this in other places but the water pressure is off. Sometimes the water runs, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it's strong, sometimes it's weak. The overhead rain shower stopped working at one point. If nothing was coming out of the shower, I would do some other bits and by time I tried again a bit later, I would usually get just enough pressue to bathe.
Shutters - The shutters (like shop shutters) are shut so there's no sunlight. I assume you could ask for them to be opened for you but bare in mind there's no privacy curtain so make sure you're already dressed and don't mind people seeing you.
Sound - The rooms are just behind the restaurant and the space between the two are where staff and friends and family like to congregate. This does mean that if you're having a lie in you'll likely be awoken by talking, things being fixed/moved, kids, etc.
Netflix - I couldn't get it to work but didn't really need it.
None of these things were major problems but would have made my stay a bit nicer. I'm a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to speaking up, so to their credit, I didn't highlight these things, but maybe they'll take them into account following my review for future guests.
