We liked the openess of the property and the direct access to the rivier (we did not launch a boat, only for fishing). We loved the "can do" attitude and friendliness of the staff at the property (Maxwell and Julia, which I saw as our hosts). They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Difficulty to locate the property (address is shown as 37 Kaalplaats, which is another property). The actual 37 is referred to as "Kaalplaats Penninsula). The shower head in the south-east bathroom was not functional (Maxweel changed it out with the shower head from the spare bathroom). We noticed a camera in the living room (and a small "eye" in the SE bedroom) and were not sure what this was for? There was no bedside lamp in the "bunk bed" room.

The house was comfortable and Julia and Maxwell were warm and welcoming. It was a home away from home.

The hosts communicate very well, are accessible on WhatsApp and phone calls anytime. Maxwell & Julia are on the property to assist with other general needs, very friendly staff. We didn’t struggle for anything, the pool table was a great feature, the entertainment area is the highlight for me. Fantastic stay on the river, environment is just awesome.
