In the middle of one of Halland's finest natural areas lies this genuine holiday home. To drink your morning coffee with nature as your nearest neighbor and listen to the birds' beautiful song while enjoying the relaxing environment. Here you have the seclusion and proximity to Åkulla beech forests' all wonderful hiking trails and sights. The cottage is located individually, surrounded by protective forest. From the entrance at the small veranda with a roof, you enter the hall. Already here you can feel the atmosphere of a cozy and embracing holiday home. To the left is a newly renovated bathroom with shower. In the large cottage, there is a spacious dining area, a comfortable sitting area with a sofa bed (for two people), wall TV with chromecast and a lovely warming wood burning stove. There are two bedrooms with a comfortable double bed in each. The kitchen is well equipped and fresh with a dishwasher and there’s also a dining area. At the far entrance, there is a storage room with washing machine and a small hall / main entrance. The generous plot, framed by the large forest and in summer lined with wild daffodils, has a patio with both garden furniture, barbecue and sun loungers. There is room for all the family's activities. The forest has a rich wildlife and do not be surprised if one or two moose appear near your cottage. In Åkulla you can find Åkulla beech forests “Åkulla Bokskogar”, which is are a very attractive area. There are many nice places to visit and many hiking trails. Visit Bockstensmannen's grave and Bexel's talking stones. For those who are interested in fishing, can find several lakes in the area that offer good fishing. Fishing license is required. The closest ones are Svarten, Boksjön and Stora Mellsjön. Also pay a visit to the nice summer town of Varberg with a throng of people, taverns, cafes and dance venues, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen in the distance. Take a walk down to the bastions and casemates, follow from the 13th century to our own time. At the lake Yasjön there is a restaurant and the opportunity to rent a boat and canoe as well as a swimming area. In winter there are beautiful ski trails etc. In the area, there is also Ästad winery and Öströö sheep farm, which offers a variety of activities. A short drive away you will find Ullared's giant shopping center. There is also a popular swimming lake with a jetty and diving tower. A drive to the coast and you reach the lovely summer town of Falkenberg with its nice beaches and cozy shops, cafes and restaurants. For those interested in golf, Hofgård Golf Club is the closest.
