This 4-bedroom/3.5-bath mountain-modern home is a perfect High Country getaway. Amazing views, including Grandfather Mountain, just minutes from downtown Blowing Rock in the popular Misty Ridge community! Enjoy them from the main level deck in the outdoor living space with plenty of seating, a gas fire pit, and a gas grill. This central location offers quick access to all the area's activities and attractions. Be on the Blue Ridge Parkway in 5 minutes or visit Tweetsie Railroad in less than 15 minutes. Grandfather Mountain is 35 minutes away, and Appalachian Ski Mountain is less than 15 minutes. There is plenty of space to spread out in the cabin. The main floor great room has high vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace and is open to the main kitchen and dining table. The well-stocked kitchen includes a Kuerig and drip coffee maker, a waffle iron, and a slow cooker, in addition to standard cooking and service supplies. There are communal coffee pods and spices for guests to use. They are restocked at intervals by the owner and often supplemented by leftovers from happy guests. The lower level offers an activity room with a pool table and flat screen TV, a second well-stocked full kitchen, and a full bathroom. Each bathroom throughout the home includes a hair dryer and a step stool for kids. The lower-level deck has a Bluetooth audio system, cozy seating, and a hot tub. Guests will be delighted to find technology throughout the cabin, such as Echo Dots, USB ports, and phone charging stations. There is a corn hole game in the carport, and board games, movies, books, and coloring activities provide fun for all ages. A spacious master suite consists of a king bed, deck access, a TV, and in-room technology, with a lavish master bathroom with double vanities and a large tile shower. The lower level king and queen bedrooms have access to the lower covered deck, enhanced with cozy seating, Bluetooth audio, and a hot tub. Upstairs, guests will find a bunk room with a full-over-queen bunk and a twin bed with an ensuite bathroom. This room has a TV, bean bag chairs, and an Xbox with games for all ages. The loft outside the bunk room has an additional full bed and TV. We had a wonderful time! The cabin is cozy and clean and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a few problems that we quickly addressed by the management company. However, this house needs a goods cleaning to get rid of the musty smell. The house was fully stocked in the both kitchens and the view was breathtaking.

This home was perfect for our family with 3 teenage boys. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the game room was perfect for our boys, we loved the large hot tub and the view was breathtaking. We had an amazing 4 days in this beautiful home on Misty Mountain.

Very nice mountain house that is much bigger than it looks in the photos. The house was excellent for our family of 10. Perfect location with quick access to Blowing Rock.

We had several issues during our stay at this beautiful home. First, checking in. The access code for the door did not work. I was on and off the phone for about an hour trying to get new codes and troubleshoot getting into the property. Eventually they gave us the lockbox code to get the key and that issue was resolved. When we entered the property several fire alarms and CO alarms were chirping. I had to call management again for this to get the batteries changed. The next morning another alarm started chirping at 3am which woke up my in-laws. Getting ready that morning at around 7am the downstairs shower malfunctioned and would not turn off so we had to turn off the water main. We tried to call management but there is no one available until 9am. No after hours number, only a voicemail. Eventually they were able to send out someone at around 11am who again replaced alarm batteries or removed faulty alarms and assessed the shower situation. He had to call a plumber who didn’t arrive until 1pm. No one could get a shower until after 1 pm which impeded our days plans. Then again after the plumber fixed the shower, the alarms began chirping again. I felt like I was being pranked. Additionally the property was not cleaned properly. There was dirty silverware and drink bottles in the downstairs kitchen. There was matted hair in the shower drain. After all this, management refunded only $100 for almost a whole day wasted waiting for things to be serviced. Very disappointing. The property is otherwise beautiful and has great amenities. We did enjoy the hot tub and the views.
