Location outstanding. Just off Corso Italia (main road in and out of Sorrento) with numerous shops, bars and eateries and a couple of large supermarkets. Only a 10 minute walk to train station for trains to Napoli, Pompeii and Herculaneum. 20 minute walk to Marina Piccola for ferries to Capri, Positano and Amalfi. 25 minute walk to Marina Grande for fabulous seafood and sunbathing (beach and lido). 10 minute walk to Piazza Tasso- the buzzing main square and nearby souvenir shops. Despite its proximity to main road, so quiet and peaceful with a balcony overlooking a lemon orchard and glimpses of the sea beyond. (There is additional outside space in a small patio area accessed directly from main bedroom).
Excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Washing machine is housed in a unit on the balcony. Safe deposit box in storage cupboard. Mini dishwasher located beneath the oven.
Welcome water, soft drinks and Prosecco provided by owner. Excellent communication prior to arrival and met in person at the property. Self checkout available. Apartment is in a residential block and is very much a home from home.
Highly recommend the authentic restaurant at the end of the road- La Cantinaccia del Populo- no reservations and there is usually a line outside but goes down quickly and well worth the wait.
Didn’t detract from overall experience, but shower cubicle in need of a refresh/regrout and mocka pot and hairdryer have both seen better days! Description mentions that toiletries are provided but these consisted of a shower gel, a handwash and a mini body lotion which were nearly empty and had clearly been used by previous occupants.

(Parois de douche moisie, sols non lavés, vaisselle à relaver, poussière au sol)
Absence de cafetière pour 4 (seulement une cafetière moca vraiment insuffisante) et aspirateur inutilisable
C’est dommage car ce pourrait être un très bel emplacement !
