We were living i Kihori for a 8 nights. Did not have any expectations at all but got very suprised about how clean and spacious the room was with excellent A/C aswell. Halima, the manager of the hotel, were super friendly and very helpful. If there was something necessary from our end, Halima always helped out and provided. Super thankful for Halima, the friendly staff and the hotel in itself.
Will definately return to Kihori when returning to Zanzibar.

Sehr freundliches Personal (vor allem Rezeption), einfache aber komfortable Unterkunft, die für 2 Nächte alles hat was man braucht. Das Frühstück war mit viel Liebe selbstgemacht und jeden Tag wechselnd.
Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig und die Security nachts recht laut. Das Badezimmer war etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Die Beachboys war sehr aufdringlich.

Hotel Kihori Nungwi ... the staff are friendly & efficient, especially the breakfast / cleaning crew. Breakfast is different each day & has a great plate of fresh fruit!!
Location is excellent ... 1 min walk to the beach!
Room size is good with hanging areas outside so you can dry your wet towel & swimming gear. Plus there is a seated area outside each room.
Decent value for money in Nungwi ... good spot for when you're busy outside doing lots of different activities.
Personally, beds were too soft for me ... mattresses & towels could do with an upgrade ... rooms, fixtures & fittings all feel a little tired!
Also I feel having the pictures of water / pools in their hotel photos can create the false impression there is a pool ... which there isn't ... they do state that clearly in their communication once you've booked but my initial selection was because I thought there was a pool.

Location is within short walk from the beach, but not by the beach
0 amenities, others had said there is a nice garden. I would rather call it a walk path through one. Only seating area is in front of you door. Would not recommend with small children
