The cottage is beautiful, in a stunning location. You feel you are stepping back jn time but with all of the modern facilities. We would certainly stay again. Sally was so helpful and we had everything we needed.

The location was superb and an amazingly characterful cottage. Garden area beautifully kept. Ideal for a getaway break for a couple, just below the moors. Great pub in the village, though mile-long potholed single-track access road from village to cottage ( a public highway!) required you to keep your wits about you
Lighting could be improved in living room and bedroom, and settee a bit soft for our taste. Those of limited mobility should note extremely steep stairs to bedroom and bathroom

Hosts are really friendly & helpful. The setting is beautiful and peaceful in superb countryside. If you're there for walking, wildlife & bird watching it starts right outside the property.
Sofa and bed were uncomfortable. The single lane road up to the property is tricky with potholes but so is most of UK these days.

Lovely location.
Some small features missing - no wood left for the fire, no independent control of heating, few cobwebs suggesting cleaning could be a little better, no reserved parking space near property, lighting outside property poor when arriving in the dark.
