This was the highlight of my trip - there's no performance, you are literally placed among one of the several homes within this village. The village is friendly and beautiful, until the village created this initiative they relied on agriculture. I loved learning about their day to day lives and experiencing it in a small way. (There is a cheeky make shift "pub" attached to the village shop. The village shop sells basics. If you don't book a room with a toilet you will share the family outside bathroom.
There was nothing I didn't like. You need to bear in mind this is not a hotel, you are staying with a family, they are not there to cater to you as they have so much work to do but they will make you feel so welcome and encourage you to understand their culture.

For the duration of stay, you feel like a part of the family. The place felt special from the moment we arrived as we were greeted by mountain vistas, animals, and of course the family.
Special highlight is that there are always some activities to take part of. For example, we had the opoortunity to experience a ritual for the dead, priest had arrived to conduct the ritual. There were many other activities as well - sound meditation, village tour and some grass cutting.
Overall, I can recommend this stay if you want to have an authentic Nepalese experience.

The family hosting this place is incredibly kind and welcoming. They genuinely make sure everything is okay and that you feel comfortable throughout your stay — they even upgraded my room, which was such a lovely surprise.
What I loved most was the connection with nature and the authentic experience of staying with a local family. The hosts were extremely helpful and took the time to show me around the village and give me a glimpse into everyday village life in Nepal.
If you’re the kind of person who wants to step outside your comfort zone, disconnect from the usual tourist experience, and truly experience life and local culture, this is the place to be. It’s definitely an out-of-the-box experience, and one I would 100% recommend.
