Good internet, central location

After paying the advertised rate, a further 100EUR was surprisingly charged before we moved in (apparently for bed linen and cleaning of the unit). In addition, a 500EUR bond was requested, though no facilities for taking a pending charge via credit card were provided, so we had to pay cash to the key provider who advised she is the 'owner's mother' (needless to say I insisted on a written receipt, which she needed to go down the street to arrange whilst we waited with our unpacked bags all around us). The only other method for paying the bond was apparently via PayPal, though the owner, who did not speak English, insisted on charging an exorbitant administration fee if this method was used. I have never experienced this in all my travels - ended up being concerned that the bond would not be returned given the nature of the owner, who refused to provide a receipt via Booking.com's message service. If you are going to ask for a bond, then a pending charge should be taken via credit card only, not actually debited with non-refundable administration costs on top!

Great location, very clean and good host.

The location was great, parking was easy to find and free for the weekend.

Having to pay for the sheets and cleaning separately from the total price for the stay, it should be added to the total price.

Overall a disappointing stay due to the way the hosts communicated and lack of response to repairs

Location was great and a very nice looking apartment. Outside courtyard was lovely.

Lack of transparency on additional costs, which were only communicated to us after the free cancellation period. Additional 85€ for cleaning, 60€ for bedding and towels and 500€ as a security deposit which I then lost 45€ when receiving my refund, the hosts stating it's due to fees and conversion rate?! Absolutely extortionate. The apartment was not the cleanest (black feet from walking around bare foot inside and dirty mirrors) and the state of repair was poor upon check-in: toilet out of order and was not going to be fixed until day before check-out and electrical sockets hanging out of the wall with hosts saying 'it's fine, it's not dangerous' whilst we have a toddler.

L’apartament està molt ben situat cèntric i a pocs metres del canal, ideal per sortir a córrer. Es veu reformat de fa poc, és molt ampli i net i ben equipat.

Ens van cobrar 100 euros a part per la neteja.

L’appartement était magnifiquement décoré fonctionnel et très propre. La suite parental indépendante ainsi que la terrasse est un grand plus. Le propriétaire est très gentil et plein de bons conseils et Marylou qui s’occupe de la conciergerie est au top autant pour son travail de qualité que pour sa bienveillance envers les locataires des lieux merci pour tout
