If "weather.com" announces snow or ice overnight, you can, however, park at the bottom and walk 1/8 mile uphill. In addition, there is a mini split and a woodstove in the large room upstairs for heat - if it's very cold (under 25 degrees or so), you may need to light a fire - the large TV room upstairs has its own heat and all the bedrooms downstairs have their own heat. I rarely use the woodstove as the mini split heats up well.. This is mountain country living! Road and driveway is windy and a bit steep. One small step to get into house (drive up) on both upper and lower levels and to upper deck. No stairs to enter lower deck. Stairs to enter fenced yard. Shady area under deck in fenced yard for dogs. Golden-Winged Warbler habitat (petitioned to be endangered species!)
